Dear Abhijit Das , Since you passed your ITI trade in Fitter in 2023, you can explore admission opportunities at LPU for programs that accept ITI or lateral entry students. GP Rating is typically a maritime-related course, and eligibility depends on the university offering it in the current session. To confirm your eligibility and the application process, you should contact LPU’s admissions office directly. They will guide you on required documents, any entrance tests, and how to secure a seat for the current session.

To get PG Marine Engineering admission at the Great Eastern Institute of Maritime Studies, you do not need to appear for the GATE exam. The Great Eastern Institute of Maritime Studies offers postgraduate course admission based on their initial assessment exam, which they conduct. You first need to fill out the application form at the institute's official website, after which you will be notified of the assessment test. You need to give and pass the assessment test. The admissions committee will establish the cut-off score for the exam. If you score above the cut-off score will be invited to an interview on the GEIMS campus in Lonavala. After interview selection, you will need to pass a full medical examination in Mumbai, as per the Merchant Shipping (Medical Examination) Rules, 2000. The final merit list is determined by academic scores, online test scores, a personal interview, and a medical exam. Once selected, you have to pay a non-refundable booking fee before the deadline to secure your seat.
