Toms College of Engineering is a Kerala-based AICTE-accredited college associated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) and authorized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in New Delhi authorised Toms College of Engineering courses, which is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), in 2015. Its mission is to provide leadership in technology-related policy formation and engineering. Toms College of Engineering offers students a wide range of career opportunities by offering B.Tech courses in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Polytechnic Diploma courses in Chemical Engineering, Civil and Mechanical Engineering. The TCE admissions are offered after the fulfilment of the required eligibility criteria.

The college is controlled by Thirunilam Educational Trust under the Visveswaraya Group. The school is positioned 2 among the confidential Engineering universities and 8 among every one of the universities in Kerala. It offers full-time BTech and Polytechnic certificate courses of four and three years of span, separately.

Toms College of Engineering & Polytechnic Kottayam Courses and Admission 2025

Toms College of Engineering and Polytechnic admissions are offered at diploma and undergraduate levels. For TCE admission to the diploma programme, applicants are chosen based on marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying exam. Seats are allocated to the certified candidates through a centralised allotment process after the arrival of the eligibility list. As per the TCE admission process for the B.Tech programme, interested candidates need to appear for KEAM. Then the shortlisted candidates need to show up for KEAM counselling for the seat allotment procedure.

TCE admissions are merit-based. Interested candidates who are a minimum of 17 years old can apply to the B.Tech course, while for diploma courses, the candidates should be of 16 years. For B.Tech lateral entry, candidates must have a polytechnic diploma. 50% of the total seats are saved under the Government quota. Each specialisation has 30 seats in the management quota and 30 in the government quota.

Toms College of Engineering & Polytechnic Kottayam Scholarships

a) Category 1: Tuition Fee will be NIL, and Special Fee will be INR 7,500/- each semester for students who scored over 90% in 12th (+2) (CBSE/ State) OR rank below 30000 in KEAM 2020.

b) Category 2: Tuition Fee will be INR 4,250/- per semester, and Special Fee will be INR 7,500/- per semester for students who scored over 80% in 12th (+2) (CBSE/ State) OR rank below 40000 in KEAM 2020.

c) Category 3: Tuition Fee will be INR 7,500/- per semester, and Special Fee will be INR 7,500/- per semester for students who scored over 70% in 12th (+2) (CBSE/ State) OR rank below 50000 in KEAM 2020.

d) Category 4: Tuition Fee will be INR 12,500/- per semester, and Special Fee will be INR 7,500/- per semester for students who received less than 70% in 12th (+2) (CBSE/ State) and rank less than 60000 in KEAM 2020.

e) Category 1: The tuition fee will be INR 17,500/- each semester, and the Special Fee will be INR 7,500/- per semester for all others.
