The programme curriculum includes subjects such as Biochemistry, Microbiology, Hematology, Immunology, and Clinical Pathology. Candidates who have passed class 12 Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects and have atleast 50% marks in class 10 are eligible for admission at the U.N. Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre.

The UNMICRC Ahmedabad fees for PGDMLT is Rs 4,000 per annum, including the course fee, library fee, and university fee. Students who have completed B.sc Microbiology/ Chemistry/ Biochemistry from any recognised university can apply for this programme. Admissions are provided based on the merit of the student in the last qualifying exam. However, the college has not published the PGDMLT admission dates 2023 yet.
