VBS Mumbai, also known as Vivekanand Business School Mumbai, is a private business school. VBS Mumbai was established as a separate entity from the Vivekanand Education Society Institute of Management Studies and Research (VESIM) to impart quality management education. Vivekanand Business School has been ranked 7th among the top private PGDM Institutes in Mumbai in the Times of India B-School Survey 2023.
VBS Mumbai is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Although newly founded, the Vivekanand Education Society Business School Mumbai is expected to become one of the top Business Schools in Mumbai.
VBS Mumbai two-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme is AICTE-approved and NBA-certified. This VBS Mumbai course was accredited while under VESIM. The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) has granted this programme equivalence with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from an Indian university for the purpose of admission to higher education. VBS Mumbai admissions are offered for various specialisations under its two-year PGDM programmes like business analytics, banking and finance management, marketing management, human resource management and operations and supply chain management.
The committees for VBS Mumbai admission accept the scores of various reputed entrance exams like CAT /XAT /MAT/ MH-CET/ CMAT/ GMAT/ ATMA for admission. Candidates with a valid score in any of the entrance exams mentioned above must go through a rigorous selection process before they are offered seat allotment letters.
