Overall: Vidhyadeep University, in my opinion, was a great place to be. Education wise it was quite good. I opted for a B.Com degree. My admission was granted based on merit and there was no entrance test. I secured 80% marks in class 12 from the commerce stream. The course curriculum was intricate and covered almost all the important and relevant topics pertaining to the commerce field. The campus was good, we had smart classrooms and laboratories. We had a library with numerous reference material for exams.
Placement: The placements were mediocre. During the Vidhyadeep University campus placement drive, a few companies visited and offered very low salary packages. Majorly companies hired B.Tech graduates, however the salary package offered to them was also low, around Rs 1.5 LPA to Rs 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was modern and the campus was well kept. The classrooms consisted of whiteboards, projectors, and microphones. The canteen offered veg and non-veg food at a very reasonable price. We used to eat full meals with a cost of around Rs 80-90.
Faculty: The faculty was really helpul. Studying under them was really beneficial. We were able to speak with them and get better advice by approaching them one on one.
Hostel: Our hostel was off campus. The fees was Rs 75,000 annually. Overall, the buildings were good, the rooms were clean and well facilitated. However, the food quality was disappointing. There were very few variations in the daily meals available.
Overall: During my time at Vidhyadeep University, I was able to learn about my course and several topics in detail such as financial accounting and management, tax laws, business laws, macro economics, and much more. Overall the curriculum was very elaborate, covering every topic in detail. The syllabus was updated to meet the current industry standards. I was able to get admission in the B.Com programme at Vidhyadeep University based on my marks in class 12. I had passed with a 92% aggregate marks in the commerce stream. The campus had a friendly student and a warm and welcoming environment. The B,Com faculty members were extremely cooperative and helped us to prepare for competitive exams as well.
Placement: Vidhyadeep University placements for B.Com were very minimal. Only a few of our batchmates were able to secure good placements. Most of us received internships with a stipend around Rs 6,000 per month. Some of my friends secured full time offers with a placement package of Rs 1.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus was clean and well maintained. The classrooms were nice and big. There were whiteboards, and audio-visual equipment, including microphones. We had playgrounds as well. The canteen offered meals at a very affordable price. There were options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
Faculty: The faculty team was very helpful. We were able to approach them and interact with them for better guidance. They would even patiently discuss and clear our doubts.
Hostel: Hostels were a bit strict. We had to follow a strict timeline set up by the warden. Other than that, everything was good, food was tasty and very homely. We had free internet as well all day. The fees were Rs 75,000 every year, which was okay for the amenities that were provided.
