2It has been a proud moment for Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation (VMRF) as it signs an MoU with the National Institute of Technology, Trichy (NIT-T). The MoU between the two Institutes has been signed for the promotion of collaborative Research and Consultancy. Through the collaboration, NIT-T and 24 constituent colleges & schools of VMRF will carry out joint research, publish joint papers, patents, and apply for external research funding. The MoU will be conducting research in various Technological fields like AI, Nanotechnology, Structural Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Health Science, Metal Joining, Hardware Security, Renewable Energy, and Lightweight Materials.
NIT Trichy Director Aghila stated that the academic information, scholarly information, materials and publications, and research facilities will be shared between the two entities. She also added that NITT is actively involved in developing sensors and devices which can find application in health care services. This MoU will help in undertaking clinical trials and field application of the devices developed at NIT-T. The MoU will be valid for 5 years.
