The Vivekananda Institute of Management Studies Placement cell is managed by the experienced faculty and management experts. Before the actual placements season starts, VIMS organises various seminars, conferences, training sessions, and personality development classes to help students enhance their skills. Companies from India as well as abroad participate in the VIMS placement process. Some of the top companies that are a part of VIMS placement drive are HCL, Nestle, Airtel, Reliance, ITC Limited, Infosys, Polaris, Bajaj Capital, etc.

VIMS provides 100% placement support and acts as a point of contact between the students and the recruiting firms. The placement cell of the college also aims at making the students more industry ready and desirable by the companies. Some of the firms that recruit regularly from teh college are,  Infosys, RND Soft, Bajaj Capital, HCL, Nestle and First Source.

• Students will be categorized at the time of admission on the basis of UG specialization such as Accountancy, Computer, Others etc.
• The companies will conduct a skill set mapping test to know who would be their prospective employees.
• The companies will impart required skill training in different domain areas to the prospective candidates to make them employable.
