XLRI Delhi NCR Campus Placements 2023 - Average & Highest Package, Percentage

XLRI - Xavier School of Management has successfully achieved 100% placements for the outgoing batch of 2020-22 for its flagship programmes: a Two-year Postgraduate Diploma in Management - Human Resource Management and a Two-year Postgraduate Diploma in Management - Business Management for both the Jamshedpur and Delhi campuses, with 427 candidates securing offers through the Combined Final Recruitment Process, including all 71 students from the first-ever batch of XLRI Delhi-NCR. The Final Placement procedure was divided into two sections. The first stage, the Lateral Recruitment Process (LRP), took place during a week in January 2022, and students with prior job experience were interviewed and offered employment higher than entry-level. 

The second stage, the Campus Recruitment Process (CRP), was held on a single day in February 2022, with no discrimination based on employment experience. 99 recruiters participated in the process, with 437 domestic offers, including 23 new recruiters. Pre-placement offers (PPOs) were also made to 40% of the class based on their performance during their summer internships.

XLRI Delhi-NCR campus-specific highlights of Final Placements 2022:

• The average salary for the first batch of 71 students was INR 27.58 lakhs per annum
• The median salary offered to the batch stood at INR 25.25 lakhs per annum with the top 10th and 50th percentile average being INR 45.3 lakhs and INR 32.37 lakhs per annum, respectively
• Highest domestic offer at INR 49 lakhs per annum.
• The top domains based on the roles offered were Consulting, Sales & Marketing

Consulting: XLRI continued to be the destination of choice for consulting firms such as Accenture Strategy, Deloitte, PwC, and others. The increase in consulting roles can be attributed to a higher number of candidates opting for these roles and the recognition of the talent pool at XLRI by these consulting firms, accentuated by our pedagogic rigour. The increased interest is also attributable to the established track record of XLRI graduates over the years in prestigious management consulting firms in India and abroad.

ITES, E-commerce, Gaming and Online Services: With the adoption of technology and accelerated digitization induced by subsequent waves of the pandemic, there was a major uptick in hiring by this sector in Product Management & Programme Management roles. Major recruiters included Amazon, PayTM, Microsoft, Flipkart, Myntra, PhonePe, Star Disney, Jio Platforms, Times Internet, Vodafone Idea, Info Edge, Fraazo and Swiggy. Gaming companies such as Junglee Games and Games 24×7 hired at XLRI for the first time.

General Management, FMCG, BFSI & Real Estate: Roles in General Management were offered by Aditya Birla Group, Adani and Bajaj Finserv. Top recruiters such as Dabur, Samsung, Beam Suntory, Brane, Thermofisher etc participated in the process. Real estate developers such as M3M visited XLRI for the first time. Roles in Strategy, Sales & Marketing, Product Supply, Operations and IT were offered to the graduating students. BFSI firms such as Citibank, Natwest and State Street Corporation were also hired from XLRI.

Batch Of 2021-23 XLRI Delhi-NCR Summer Placement

XLRI – Xavier School of Management, amongst India’s premier B-Schools, completed its Summer Internship Placement Process (SIP) for its largest-ever class of 470 students (2021-23 batch) of the Business Management and Human Resource Management programs across both XLRI Jamshedpur and Delhi-NCR.

The 107 students from XLRI Delhi-NCR participating in the combined placement process achieved a 100% placement record. Even amidst the pandemic, the top 20% of the Delhi-NCR campus averaged INR 1.5 lakhs per month while the top 50% had an average stipend of INR 1.28 lakhs per month.

The Delhi campus students bagged an average stipend of INR 1.12 lakhs per month and a median stipend of INR 1.1 lakhs per month in a staggering increase of over 47% and 46% respectively from the previous year.

Sector-wise Turnouts: The top segments based on roles offered to students from the Delhi-NCR Campus were Consulting, Sales & Marketing, and General Management. Consulting and Advisory firms extended offers to around 33% of the batch while around 27% bagged Sales and Marketing roles, about 15% of the batch were offered some of the most coveted General management roles.

Analytics & Consulting: XLRI has grown into a significant talent source for Consulting firms as some of the top names in Consulting chose to recruit students from XLRI Delhi-NCR with Accenture Strategy making their highest number of offers ever. This year’s process also witnessed participation from PwC, Deloitte India, Aon, Everest Consulting and FinIQ Consulting.

FMCG: Leading FMCG companies recruited XLRI Delhi-NCR students with companies such as Hindustan Unilever, Modelez, Dabur and Pidilite offering top roles.

IT/ITeS, E-commerce: There was great participation from e-Commerce firms with Amazon making offers on campus across both Amazon and AWS across multiple roles, followed closely by Flipkart and Udaan. Leading companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Walmart, Star Disney, Vodafone-Idea and Infoedge offered roles across domains including their prestigious Product Manager and Program Manager roles.

General Management: General Management roles were offered by top recruiters like Adani, Aditya Birla Group, Bajaj Finserv, and JSW amongst others

BFSI: Big names in the Banking and Financial Services Industry like Axis, ICICI, Yes Bank, Mastercard, Intellect Design Arena were among the recruiters for this year’s process

Healthcare and Pharma: XLRI Delhi-NCR witnessed extensive participation from the Healthcare and Pharma sector in the process, with recruiters including AstraZeneca, Cipla, Sanofi, Novozymes Sun Pharma offering roles in Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance.
