ZIMA puts a lot of stress on practical training of the students by taking them to the actual locations as well as post production studios, where the shoots are taking place. It goes without saying that the infrastructure and facilities available within the parameters of the ZEE network of channels are tremendous. ZIMA also believes that performing arts are best learnt by doing. Over 75% of the training and education is practical in nature.

Movie Club -

ZIMA Film Club is an initiative to provide a platform to those films, documentaries which are important and need to be seen; but which do not get released in mainstream theatres. We also try if the filmmaker can also come to interact with our students.

We see it as an important step to introduce students to good and responsible filmmaking as also acquaint them with the journey of the making of these films and their filmmakers.

Unfortunately, you cannot get admission to the Zee Institute of Media Arts (ZIMA) if your education is less than Class 12. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to ZIMA is Class 12 from a recognized board. However, in exceptional and special cases, this rule is flexible. There are also some other institutes that offer media courses for students with less than Class 12 education. Collegedekho will be happy to assist you in finding a college as per your requirements. Hello Pravinwalodra, the Zee Institute of Media Arts offers various courses in media and entertainment such as the 3D Animation & VFX, Gaming, Film Making, Broadcast Production, Graphic Design, Web Design and Development, Photography, Media and Entertainment Management courses. The fees for certificate course is Rs 1,32,000 and Rs 1,37,500 for diploma courses at ZIMA Mumbai.
