ITI in Instrument Mechanic

Instrument Mechanic is a course that deals with installing, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation automation and control systems. Instrument mechanics are tradesmen who perform the above tasks. The duration of the ITI Instrument Mechanic course is two years, which consists of 4 semesters. Students are introduced to a lot of topics during this course. The topics like electronics, electronic repair, mechanical instruments, indicators, and so on.

ITI Instrument Mechanic Highlights

In order to get enrolled in the Instrument Mechanic course, the applicants must fulfil some eligibility criteria that are mentioned below - 

• Applicants should have passed their class Xth exam from a recognized Board or
• Applicants should have passed class XII from a recognized Board.
• Applicants should have compulsorily studied Science and Mathematics subjects at the qualifying level
• Applicants should have at least secured 40% in aggregate at the qualifying level

The ITIs offering admission into the Instrument Mechanic mechanic course allocate seats on the basis of the merit of the applicants. Based on the scores obtained by the applicants in their qualifying exam, the institutes prepare a merit list and on the basis of the merit list, eligible candidates are offered seats in the Instrument Mechanic programme.
