Bilaspur University admissions 2023: Bilaspur University or Atal Bihari Vajpayee Vishwavidalaya is a state university established via Chhatisgarh Act No. 7 in June 2012. It has jurisdiction over 164 affiliated colleges spanning across five districts namely, the revenue district of Bilaspur, Mungeli, Korba, Jangir‐Champa and Raigarh. The university teaching department is offering 10 courses including MCA, B.Sc, BHM, PG Diploma, PG Certificate, M. Tech, etc. Bilaspur University admission to these courses is done on the basis of an entrance exam or on a first come first serve basis in some courses. 

Bilaspur University entrance exams are conducted department-wise according to the course the students wants to take admission in. However, in integrated courses, diploma and certificate courses, admissions are done on marks secured by the student in class 12 or graduation. 

Bilaspur University admission 2024 will commence from June 2023. The application process will begin by filling an application form which can be filled online or through offline mode. The application fee can be paid through a demand draft darwin in the favour of Resgistrar, Bilaspur University, Chhattisgarh. Students are required to follow these steps for initiating the Bilaspur University application process 2023. 

1. Visit the Bilaspur University official website.
2. The application form can be downloaded from here- ‘https://www.bilaspuruniversity.ac.in/universitycourses.php’.
3. Students are required to provide their academic details and affix their photograph.
4. Academic documents are required to be attached such as class 10 marksheet, class 12 marksheet, graduation marksheet,  migration certificate, identity proof, address proof, etc. 
5. Application fees of Rs 350 for general students and Rs. 250 for SC/ST candidates is to be paid through a demand draft.
6. Submit the application fee either through draft or in online mode. 

After the application fee is accepted, students can take the entrance test. If a student opts to take admission to multiple departments, he will be given question papers for all the desired courses. Thereafter, students will be required to come for a face-to-face personal interview department-wise. 

The department will prepare a merit list of candidates on the basis of:

1. Written entrance examination
2. Personal interview
3. Marks obtained in previous class
4. NCC certificate, if any
5. State level certificate in sports, cultural or literary fields
6. National level certificate in sports, cultural or literary fields

Selected candidates may go on to pay the Bilaspur University course fee and report at their classes on the designated date and time.
