About Junagadh Agricultural University (JAU)
Junagadh Agricultural University is a public state university established on May 1, 2004. The university was established under the Gujarat Agricultural Universities (GAUs) Act 2004. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). In the year 2020, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) ranked Junagadh Agricultural University at 40th position in top agricultural universities in India. The university has seven constituent colleges. A few of them are College of Agriculture (Junagadh), College of Agriculture Engineering and Technology, PG Institute of Agri-Business Management etc.
The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees in agriculture and allied sciences streams. B.Sc (Hons), B.Tech, M.Sc, M.Tech, MBA and PhD are the degrees offered by Junagadh Agricultural University. The university accepts GUJCET scores for UG courses admission. The placement cell at the campus provides ample placement and summer internship opportunities to students.
