Hyderabad, Telangana's Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) is an institution governed by state legislation. Campuses are located at Bibinagar and Punjagutta. The University Grants Commission and the Indian Medical Council both recognise NIMS. 

For students who desire to pursue careers in medical science, Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences Hyderabad provides a variety of courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, PG Diploma, and Research levels. Admission to the Master in Hospital Management programme is now being offered by the institution for the 2021 academic year.

• The candidate's marks in the qualifying examination will be used to determine their selection for Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences BPT and B.Sc. (Nursing).
• Only female candidates may enrol in the B.Sc. Nursing programme.
• The NEET SS entrance exam score will be used to determine a student's eligibility for medical programmes like DM and MCh, and counselling will follow.
• Candidates must present in person for Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences interview at the research level as well.

NIMS Hyderabad B.Sc Nursing Admission 2024

For students who desire to pursue careers in medical science, Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) provides a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) degree. It takes four years to complete the programme. 

The candidates will be chosen based on their grades from the qualifying test in order to pursue admission to the B.Sc. Nursing programme. There are 100 seats available for Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences B.Sc course. The university will publish a merit list in accordance with the grades received for the prerequisite degree.

• Only female candidates are granted places in the B.Sc. programme.
• The applicant must not be older than 25 as of December 31, 2021, but they must have reached the age of majority by that date, which is at least 17 years old.
• Candidates from the SC/ST category have their upper age restriction relaxed by three years.
• According to university policies, candidates in the differently abled group will also receive reservations.
• For B.Sc. candidates who are currently employed by NIMS, 5 seats are reversed. 
• The original certificate must be shown and a medical test must be completed by candidates who are chosen for admission to the B.Sc. nursing programme.

NIMS, Hyderabad MPT and BPT Admission 2024

Students who are interested in pursuing physiotherapy as a career can choose from the university's 4.5-year Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and 2-year Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) programmes. 

Students must have completed and passed the 10+2 level in the relevant subject in order to be admitted to BPT. The university will compile a list of the qualified applicants, after which the candidates will be chosen on the basis of merit. 

To apply for admission to an MPT programme, one must have a BPT graduating degree. Those who meet the requirements will be admitted based on their performance on the prerequisite exam.

One MPT seat is set aside for an In-Service Candidate from NIMS who meets the eligibility requirements and passes the entrance exam.

For BPT, the 15%, 6%, and 29% of the seats that are reserved for SC/ST/OBC candidates, respectively, will be filled from the total number of seats.

NIMS, Hyderabad MD and MS Admission 2024

At the graduate level, NIMS provides a three-year Master of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) programme.

Candidates must take the NEET PG exam, which may be applied for on the exam's official website, in order to be considered for admission to the MD and MS programmes.

Only those candidates who are from the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are eligible for Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences admission.

NIMS DM and M.Ch Admission 2024

NIMS Hyderabad also provides superspeciality courses in the form of Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch) under several specialties for a length of three years each.

Students must have completed required coursework and passed the Master of Medicine (MD) or Diplomate of National Board (DNB) exams in order to apply for admission to the programmes specified above. The qualified students must next show up for the NEET Super Speciality common admission test, which is followed by counselling.

NIMS, Hyderabad MHM and PG Diploma 2024

Professional programmes like the Master of Hospital Management and the PG Diploma are also available at the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, both of which have a two-year length. Further to this, a 1-year PG Diploma (Part Time) programme is also available.

The university will conduct a screening test and a personal interview with eligible applicants who wish to apply for admission.

The screening test is waived for applicants who have been selected for the CSIR/UGC JRF-NET or the ICMR Junior Research Fellowship, but they still need to show up for an in-person interview.

The process for applying to NIMS courses is outlined below for the candidate : 

• Visit the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences official website.
• To apply online, click on the link.
• To register yourself, click the link that says "Register yourself."
• By selecting the button in the column next to the course name, you can choose the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences course for which you are applying.
• Click the Register button after completing all the fields.
• To login, click the link after copying the application number for Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences admission.
• Submit the registration number and password sent to your mobile number, enter captcha code and click on the login button.
• Click on Submit online Application, fill out all the required information, and then click Save & Update to save the information.
• Pay the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences fees for application of Rs 700 (Rupees Seven Hundred Only) online using NET Banking, a credit or debit card, or a bank account.
• Upload the necessary documents.

The following list of documents must be uploaded or sent by the applicant, along with a hard copy of the online application form that has been duly completed, signed, and delivered in a sealed envelope, by mail or in person.

2. Attested copy of memorandum of marks of Intermediate examination.
3. Attested copy of study and conduct certificates for 7 years (6th to Intermediate) from the Heads of Institutions.
4. Original bank demand draft/NIMS cash receipt (do write your name and course applied for on the back side of the draft/ NIMS cash receipt).
5. Attested copy of Transfer certificate of intermediate course.
6. No objection certificate from the appointing authority ( in case of in-service candidates).
7. Attested copy of Social Status Certificate as applicable.
8. Attested copy of differently abled (PH) certificate where applicable.
