Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha is now known as the National Sanskrit University. It is a central and deemed-to-be university which was established in 1961 by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The university aims to protect the traditional Sanskrit language of the nation and thus offers courses in the streams of Sanskrit, Hindi, Yoga, Computers, and, Education.
