AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme offers assistance and motivation to orphans and their wards of parents who passed away from COVID-19, children of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces killed in an effort (Shaheed) to seek education. This is an effort to provide each such child with a chance to pursue additional studies and equip themselves for a successful future through learning in AICTE-recognised institutions and classes.
The total family income from various sources must not exceed INR 8,00,000 per year during the financial year of the application. The applicant must be presently enrolled in Degree/Diploma programs at AICTE-approved institutions in a regular format (in the 1st/2nd/3rd/4th year). The candidate must not have received any scholarships sponsored by the Central Govt., State Govt., or AICTE.

If a student is currently in their second, third, or fourth year of a degree, the scholarship term will be decreased to three, two, or one year. Similarly, students in their second or third year of diploma studies will have their scholarship cut to two or one year.

No other supplemental grant will be provided instead of hostel fees, medical expenses, etc. If the student is presently enrolled in the 2nd/3rd/4th year at the degree level, the scholarship period will be shortened to 3/2/1 year accordingly. In the same manner, for students presently enrolled in the 2nd/3rd year at the diploma level, the scholarship period will be shortened to 2/1 year accordingly.
