IIM Indore, established in 1996, is the sixth IIM to be created under the IIM legacy. One of the most well-known government B-schools in India with autonomy is IIM Indore. The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and the Association of MBAs (AMBA) have both recognised and approved IIM Indore.
