ATMA Exam Pattern 2025 Overview

ATMA exam pattern 2025 is released by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) on its official website. The management and aptitude skills of a candidate are evaluated in the ATMA 2025 exam. The ATMA 2025 exam pattern provides important information about the exam and gives a glimpse of the overall structure of the ATMA question paper. The structure of the ATMA exam is similar to other MBA entrance exams. ATMA exam is based on three main sections: Quantitative Skills, Analytical Reasoning Skills, and Verbal Skills. These sections have 2 sub-sections each, making it a total of 6 sections.

There will be a total of 180 questions in the exam. All 6 sections carry 30 marks each. The total marks would be 180 with a marking scheme of 1 mark per question and a negative marking of -0.25 marks per incorrect answer. The entire paper must be completed in 3 hours, thus each section of the ATMA 2025 paper is to be completed in 30 minutes duration. It is at the discretion of the candidates if they will write the exam offline (pen and paper) or online mode (Computer Based Test). The medium of the paper is English.

ATMA 2025 exam is conducted at the national level test with the aim of providing admission to the top management colleges in India. Section Wise Break-up of ATMA Exam Pattern 2025

There are 6 skill tests in a typical ATMA Exam paper pattern under 3 categories of sections namely: 

• Analytical Reasoning skills I
• Quantitative skills I
• Verbal skills I

There will be 30 questions each from all these skills tests. Each section must be completed in a span of 30 minutes (separately timed).

ATMA Exam Pattern 2025 Marking Scheme

ATMA 2025 Exam syllabus comprises Analytical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and Quantitative Ability. While preparing for ATMA, candidates must know the marking scheme in detail. The ATMA exam is designed to assess the aptitude of the students for higher management education. The ATMA 2025 exam comprises six sections comprise Analytical Reasoning, Quantitative, and Verbal Skills. 180 questions are asked in the ATMA exam that must be completed in a maximum duration of 3 hours. How to Answer Questions in ATMA 2025 Paper?

Candidates must answer questions in the ATMA 2025 paper in the following manner:

• Each section of the ATMA online entrance test must be answered sequence-wise. Candidates are not allowed to switch sections.
• For each question, four options will be given.
• One needs to select one correct answer. More than one answer marked for a particular question is considered invalid, and no marks are allotted to such answers.
• Candidates must read all the questions carefully before answering them.
• Since there will be sectional timing in ATMA online entrance exam, candidates should not spend more than one minute answering each question.
• It is feasible for the candidates to solve the easy questions first and the difficult ones later.

ATMA Exam Pattern 2025 Exam Guidelines

Candidates have to follow certain exam guidelines for ATMA 2025 which will be conducted in online mode:

• The ATMA exam will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM. It is mandatory for the candidates to reach the exam center by 1 PM in order to complete the frisking process.
• Candidates must carry a printed copy of the ATMA admit card along with one valid photo ID proof.
• Candidates must not press the F5 key on the keyboard, or it will end their ATMA exam.
• Candidates must not indulge themselves in any malpractice.
• Candidates must have a working system with a good internet connection along with a webcam and mic.
• There should not be any background noise or disturbances.
• Students cannot leave their seats during the exam as the images, audio and video will be recorded.
• Students have to dress up in formals while taking the exam.
• ​Candidates are not supposed to open any webpage or other application on their systems during the exam and close all the pop-ups.
• Candidates are not allowed to talk during the exam.
• Candidates should not even use any electronic gadget including their phones.
• ​Since the exam will be supervised using Artificial Intelligence, students should refrain from indulging in any malpractice.
