NSUT admission 2024, is determined by the candidate's merit in their last qualifying exam along with valid entrance exam scores. The exams accepted by the university for admission are JEE Main, CUET, GATE, CAT, etc. These national-level tests are used to determine NSUT Delhi admissions, which are then followed by a counselling process. Candidates are chosen by the university for its BTech programme based on their JEE Main scores and JAC Delhi counselling. The seat allocation will be based on the JEE Main scores, the availability of seats, the reservation criteria, etc., and there will be 5 rounds of counselling. Students are admitted to the university's MBA programme based on their CAT scores, followed by CMAC counselling. Through COAP counselling, NSUT chooses students for admission to the MTech programmes. Getting admission to NSUT Delhi requires minimum eligibility criteria of passing class 12 with the given aggregate from recognized boards. NSUT New Delhi offers undergraduate courses to foreign nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin/NRIs/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) through Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA). The selected students are provided with a Provisional Admission letter by DASA MNNIT, Allahabad, which is required at the time of admission. The candidates are required to report at the given time (can check from the NSUT website) at the main auditorium, where they get admitted directly to the programs after producing all the necessary documents along with the exam scorecard and payment of fees.
Even though the Netaji Subhas University of Technology provides the students technical education under the affiliation of the University of Delhi, the admission to any of the programmes is done on the basis admission regulations laid by NSUT itself. The admission to all programmes, i.e. undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are done based on various factors, such as common entrance tests, i.e. JEE and GATE, Group Discussions, Interviews and in certain cases, NSUT entrance tests are also conducted. The students will have to go through the entire admission process for the programme of their choice at the Netaji Subhas University of Technology. The admission process for each of the programmes is conducted differently, therefore, before applying for the programme the student must go through all the information as well as the regulations of the college for admissions, that has been provided by NSUT.
Being an institution/university that provides technical education to the students, it takes admissions to the B.Tech programme as has been directed by the Government of India. The candidates who wish to pursue the programme at the university must first ensure that they satisfy the NSUT B.Tech eligibility criteria . The primary eligibility criteria that the candidates require to have passed the class 12 board examination in the stream of science. Along with the academic qualification, it is important for the candidates to have a CRL Rank in the JEE Mains (Paper I) . The admission to the programmes is done purely on the basis of the rank that has been achieved by the student in the JEE Mains examination. The candidates must also ensure that they have obtained a minimum aggregate score of 60% or higher in the class 12 board examination as well, in order to pass the eligibility criteria for the programme.
Since admission to the programme is done on the basis of the Joint Admission Counselling (JAC), the students will be required to go through the NSUT application process. The application to the programmes is done with the candidate visiting the official website of JAC Delhi and depositing a non-refundable amount as the registration-cum-counselling fee of Rs 1,500 for B.Tech programmes. They will have to register for the programme using the JEE (Main) Application Number as well as the name mentioned in the JEE Admit Card. After the payment of the registration-cum-counselling fee, the candidates will need to provide the college with details such as JEE (Mains) Application Number, DoB, Nationality and Result Status (Cleared 12th or not). Next, they will need to select the branch and the University or Institute that they wish to pursue their higher education programme, after which, they must take out a printout of the filled-in choices. Once the choices have been closed and locked, the students will have to wait for the seat allotment process for B.Tech, which will take place as per the performance of the candidate in the JEE Mains exam. As per the dates that have been mentioned by JAC Delhi the applicants will receive the results of the seat allotment processes. The students who are satisfied with the allotment will be able to freeze their allotment and if they wish to take a different allotment, they will have to wait for the right seat allotment and freeze the one that they are satisfied with.
Once the seats have been allotted and the candidates are satisfied with the seat that has been provided to them, the students will be asked to visit the University or Institute that they have been allotted with all the original documents along with the self-attested copies of the same, that have been requested by the University for the admission to the programme that they wish to pursue. Among the documents that are required by the candidates include the receipt of the payment of the admission fee, the online registration form that has been signed by both the candidate and the parent/guardian, a printout of the filled-in-choices, 3 coloured passport-size photographs, a printout of the JEE (Mains) admit card and Rank card, class 12 board examination mark sheet, printed letter of Seat of Allotment, Class 10 certificate for DoB proof and if applicable, documents proving the candidates admission through reservation category. After the document verification process, the selected candidates or provisional candidates will be asked to pay the remaining fee, which will confirm the admission of the candidate to the programme.
To be eligible for the undergraduate programme in management, the applicants need to fulfil the NSUT BBA eligibility criteria. The candidates will be offered admission if they have cleared the class 12 board examination with a minimum aggregate score of 60% in the qualifying examination. The students who are currently appearing for their qualifying examination will be able to apply for the programme as well, however, they will need to provide the college with the necessary documents proving the eligibility of the candidates. Among the subjects, the candidates need to have passed the class 12 board examination in the subject of English.
The candidates who are interested in pursuing the undergraduate management programme will need to complete the NSUT BBA application process. Those interested must visit the official website of NSUT and search for the online application form for BBA under the admission section of the website. After the completion of the application form, the candidates will be asked to pay the application form fee via online mode of Rs 1,000 for the general category, meanwhile, the applicants from the reservation category need to pay ₹500. Without the payment of the application form fee, the admission of the candidate is liable to be cancelled. The candidates will need to provide the college with a printed application form at the time of admission.
The Netaji Subhas University of Technology selects candidates for its programmes as per their performance as well as the scores obtained by them in the qualifying examination. The candidates will be selected for the courses as per the “Best Four” subjects, which also includes the subject of English. The University will be releasing a merit list for the same.
Those who are interested in taking admission to the postgraduate management programme, they are required to meet the NSUT MBA eligibility criteria . The first criterion needed for the admission to the programme is to have cleared the undergraduate programme qualifying examinations with a minimum aggregate score obtained of 60%. The students who are appearing in the qualifying examinations can also apply for the programme, however, it is their duty to provide the college with the documents as soon as the results have been declared. The interested applicants are also required to carry a valid CAT score as well.
After the completion of the application processes, the shortlisted candidates will be shortlisted for the NSUT MBA selection process . As per the regulations, the college will select the students as per their performance in the CAT exams. Once the candidates have been shortlisted, they will be asked to appear for a Group Discussion along with a Personal Interview. On the basis of their performance in all the three categories, the candidates will be shortlisted and offered admission to the programme via a merit list.
Candidates will be able to take admission to the postgraduate programme in management if they fulfil the NSUT MBA IEV eligibility criteria . The applicants need to be a graduate with a valid graduate degree. They are also required to have obtained a minimum aggregate score of 50% in the qualifying examination. The admissions are open to the candidates who are currently appearing for their qualifying examination as well.
NSUT MBA IEV selection process includes analysing the candidates in various factors such as their performance in the qualifying examination, diversity in academics, gender along with a Written Test and a Personal Interview. The candidates will need to perform well in these as these will be the sole guiding processes that will guarantee the admission of the candidate to the programme of their choice.
The interested candidates who wish to take admission to the postgraduate technical programme will need to satisfy the NSUT M.Tech eligibility criteria . The candidates need to ensure that they have passed their graduation in the relevant subjects or programmes to the programmes that they wish to pursue their masters. They will also need to ensure that they have obtained a minimum aggregate score of 60%. The candidates need to ensure that they have a degree in the respective courses as they wish to pursue in the pg degrees, for instance, the students who wish to pursue M.Tech in Mechanical or Electronics programme are required to have a B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any other equivalent degree to the programme. Along with the academic qualification, the candidates also need to ensure that they have appeared for GATE exam and carry a valid GATE score for the respective course. The college gives preference to the candidates who carry a valid GATE score over those who do not. The students who do not carry a valid GATE score, they will be asked to sit for an entrance written test, which will be the calculating factor for the admission to the programme.
The students who are interested in taking admission in the M.Tech programmes of the college, the students will need to go through NSUT M.Tech Selection process . The college selects the students for its programmes in M.Tech through their performance in GATE or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Those who carry a valid score in GATE will gather a rank in the merit list that will be released the Netaji Subhas University of Technology. The candidates will be offered admission to the programmes in the order of their rank in the merit list. The other students will be selected for the programmes on the basis of their performance in the written entrance test conducted by NSUT.
