Overall: Honestly speaking, if you are deciding to take admission in this college looking at the campus and stuff, i request you to not do that. You will most surely regret your decisions. It is not different than a school where regulations are extremely strict. Students are not favoured very much and our sole purpose is to be drained of money for the sake of th college and to full the already rich tummies of the management. Faculty members differ from department to departments. Personally, I have had an average experience in comparison to some of my acquaintances who have had hellish experiences in this college.
Faculty: Most faculty members are fine except for a few who like to boss around students and make them do their own work. Most have a pretty orthodox way of thinking in comparison to the current generation trends. A girl and a boy are not allowed to be together under any circumstances or else they shall be monitored and in not so rare cases, action will be taken. Our principal turned director casually drives around in a vehicle in the campus after class hours and observes students and confiscates ID cards of students who appear close to students of the opposite sex, and later inform parents and cause problems for the students in question.
Overall: This is the most beautiful campus situated in Kerala. This college contains a special engineering branch which is metallurgy. The facilities are very good to us and we have good lab also. But the maneger of the college is very strict girls and boys can't sit together which is a big problem for students.now the college is autonomous and it is going to change in University in coming years . Every year we have fest Azure , sports day Avesh and Azure is the biggest fest in south india . College has startup walley and idea lab .But by the college is like our second home
Faculty: The facilities of amal Jyothi are well qualified and 7 of 5 of my class has PhD and there behaviour is also good for students. They motivate as for studies and some facilities are very rude when it comes to there ego . But overall there good facilities
Overall: An excellent college for students seeking for a college that focuses highly on academic performances and research, the infrastructure here is number 1 in Kerala and have been recognised multiple times, majority of the crowd is also very dull which resuls in low number of extra curricular activities.
Faculty: The faculty depnds on the department, every department has faculties with most amount of qualifications, the faculty there also gives out good notes which help students get a deeper understanding of the subjects. There are certain senior faculty members who are unnecessarily strict, the faculty mainly teach the first year, many students hate the college and start to rebel out due to the actions of these type of teachers.
