Asma Hussain Institute of Fashion Technology – AIFT; in Uttar Pradesh’s 1st residential Fashion Institute, affiliated with NCVT Government of India. It is a nonprofit making body. AIFT is a 25-year-old organization that was established in 1995 and is registered under the Societies Registration Act. We have now also started Graduate Degree programs recognized by AICTE. 

We also have an option to study abroad in the USA for the last year/ semester at a fraction of the American fee that is charged to Indian Students. We work with Miss India Organization for Campus Princess selections through Lucknow.

AIFT is an institute of design, management, and technology, catering to the needs of the rapidly growing fashion market which includes ready-to-wear garments, couture, embroideries, handicraft products, lifestyle, and interior products, which also have to meet the challenges of the global market.

AIFT acts as a catalyst for professionals in Indian fashion industries. We are in regular dialogue with the fashion business and craft sector to continuously assess their requirement and respond proactively. AIFT helps in research, design development, marketing, and skill up-gradation of various art and craft.

AIFT was established to research, revive and promote the handicrafts, textiles, and artisans of Uttar Pradesh. Its main objective is to save our rich heritage, create employment and bring back the glory of Awadh, by linking the cottage industry with the mainstream industries of the world. AIFT trains fashion, textile, and interior Designers and links them with artisans to develop new designs and products for the global market. AIFT is in a premium location, easy to reach on the main Hazratganj road. Admitted Students are eligible for a scholarship from the Government of India to pursue their course of choice in B.Des. Degree from AIFT (30% students).
