The Assam Don Bosco University provides B. Tech in five specialties and B. Tech lateral entrance. Passing the 10+2 test with at least 45 percent aggregate marks and Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as required courses is the minimum requirement for B. Tech. Candidates for B. Tech lateral entry must hold a diploma or a B.Sc. degree in a related discipline from an AICTE-approved university.

The merit in the qualifying examination and entrance test, i.e., JEE Main/state entrance test/Don Bosco University Graduate Entrance Test, is used to choose students for first-year B.Tech.
