Placement: The placement opportunities at the college are steadily improving, with the placement cell actively working to connect students with reputed companies and law firms since 2022. Each year, around 3-4 students secure placements in various organizations, with average packages ranging between ₹3-4 lakh per annum. The placement cell organizes workshops, training sessions, and pre-placement talks to prepare students for interviews and professional challenges. Although the numbers are gradually increasing, the college remains committed to enhancing industry connections and creating more opportunities for its students.

Infrastructure: The college boasts a well-developed infrastructure designed to cater to both academic and extracurricular needs. The campus includes spacious classrooms equipped with modern teaching aids, a well-stocked library with an extensive collection of books and journals, and dedicated computer labs with high-speed internet connectivity. Hostel facilities are available for students, ensuring a comfortable stay with essential amenities. The campus also features a moot court for law students to practice, well-maintained sports grounds, and recreational areas. Additionally, there are medical facilities, cafeterias, and 24/7 security to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.

Faculty: The faculty members are highly approachable and supportive, ensuring that students feel comfortable seeking guidance. Their teaching methods are a balanced mix of theoretical and practical approaches, allowing students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject. They also conduct regular tests and assessments to evaluate the students' performance and provide valuable feedback for improvement.

Hostel: The college provides well-maintained hostel facilities within the campus, ensuring a comfortable and secure environment for students. The hostels are equipped with essential amenities, including furnished rooms, clean washrooms, and a common area for recreation. Regular maintenance ensures a hygienic living space. The mess offers nutritious meals catering to diverse tastes, and there are provisions for clean drinking water. Security is a priority, with guards stationed at entry points and strict rules for late-night entry, requiring prior permission. The hostel's proximity to the academic blocks and other campus facilities adds to the convenience, fostering a supportive atmosphere for academic and personal growth.

Overall: Candidates who have secured minimum 45% in English and passed with 50% in 10+2 as an aggregate is eligible to apply to the course. Eligible candidates need to appear for the written test conducted by Department of Law, Assam University. Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview based on score obtained in written test. Candidates are selected based on written test score, 10+2 score and performance in personal interview.Library: Assam University has a central library with a collection of over 1.27 lakh books. It also has subscriptions to more than 1,100 print and online journals. Moreover, the facility of more than 10,000 e-resources is also available through the e-Shodh Sindhu (INFLIBNET), DELNET, and DELCON consortiums, which can be accessed all over the campus. The library provides all academic library services in an automated environment with the help of Koha Integrated Library Management Software (ILMS). It has a reading room facility with a seating capacity of 200 and an Internet access lab with 20 nodes. Games and Sports: Every year a social meet is organised at the university campus, where, along with cultural activities, indoor and outdoor sports are conducted. The university is currently a member of the Interuniversity Sports Board of India, and its teams participate in zonal and all-India university tournaments, bringing laurels, prizes, and medals. The central sports complex, which is in the process of coming up, is expected to give a major boost to games and sports and to other extra-curricular activities of the students pursuing courses at Assam University.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is very good. We had free Wi-Fi facilities, smart classroom, both central as well as departmental library. A clean mess, various canteens, a health center, gym center, facilities for sports and games, cultural fests, etc. are available.

Faculty: The teaching staff was very supportive and full of knowledge. They try to educate the students in every possible way. But the semester exams were conducted a bit tough to make us future ready. Also, there were internal tests every now and the, which made us prepare for the main exam easily.

Hostel: Presently, Assam University houses nine hostels: four for boys and five for girls. The hostels are furnished with basic facilities. Along with the accommodation, the varsity also offers mess facilities to the students, which can be availed of by submitting a preference for a meal at the time of admission.
