Most of the faculty members are already doctorate degree holders or are on the path to the same. Some of the faculty members have a numbers of paper publications to their credit. The BTI team believes in leaving no stones unturned to bring the best out of their students.
Academic
During the academic year 2010-2011 our students fared extremely well in the first semester VTU exams. The pass percentage of the college (73.33%) is way above the VTU average (63%). The performance of the students can be attributed to their handwork and guidance provided by the faculty members to each and every student.
Extracurricular
We at BTI believe that extracurricular activities are very important for the overall development of an individual. The college conducted a number of onstage and offstage competitions for students during the previous year. The students responded enthusiastically and participated in large numbers. The winners of various events were felicitated on the college day.
Sports
A sport not only helps a student remain physically fit, but also cultivates in him discipline, team spirit and leadership qualities. The college celebrated annual sports day during the academic year 2010-2011, number of indoor and outdoor competitions were held for boys and girls. The students participated in large numbers and winners were felicitated on the college day.
College students also participated in the VTU regional meet held at Sr MVIT Bangalore, during April-May 2011 and as a result of our encouragement and support Jeevitha of IInd semester ECE secured first place in 10km running race.
