BCET Durgapur B.Tech Admission

Pass in Higher Secondary examination (10+2) or equivalent with at least 45% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together (40% for SC/ST candidates) with individual pass marks in each of those subjects and pass marks (30%) in English. Others conditions as per State Govt. notification.

Graduation in any discipline under (10+2+3) with at least 45 % marks.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline under (10+2+3) system with Mathematics and/or Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level. Candidates appearing in the Bachelor’s degree examination are also eligible to apply subject to qualifying the entrance examination (JECA). However, such candidates have to produce their marksheets and relevant documents at the time of admission to the institute.

Dear Student,

Unfortunately, diploma students from Bihar or any other state with 10th marks are not eligible for WBJEE exam. This is because the minimum WBJEE 2025 eligibility criteria requires that all students (from West Bengal or other states) must have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects to get admission to B.Tech degree.
