Situated in a plot of 1.93 acres located in an urban setting within kolkata, the college has many locational advantages, being in a quiet area at one end of the city and at the same time very much part of an academically rich, as well as industrially and commercially vibrant centre of India.

14 Aug 2015 – Blood-donation Camp

10 Sept 2015- Campus Cleaning Programme

28 Sept 2015-Children’s Day Observation at Mohonanada Brahmachari Children’s    

                       Hospital.NSS members distributed fruits and chocolates to children.

07 Oct 2015- Motivation Camp to promote the feeling of community service among

                      Students.Dr. Nitish Biswas from CU addressed the students.

10 Dec 2015- A magic show was organized in association with Dept. of Health, Govt.

                       of WB as a part of AIDS Awareness Programme.

24 Jan 2016- Celebration of CU Foundation Day.

26 Jan 2016- Celebration of Republic Day.

21 Mar 2016- Health Awareness Programme for women entitled: Cancer of Uterine   

                      and Breast.

29 Mar 2016- Eye Check- up Camp in association with Lions Club, Thakurpukur.

30 Mar 2016- Blood-donation Camp.

The NCC unit of the college is run under 1 Bengal Air Squadron, NCC. Cadets of Air Wing NCC may participate in microlight flying, parasailing etc, and attend national camps like All India Vayu Sainik Camp, Republic day Camp etc.
