Overall: According to me, Bengal Institute of Technology stands as a premier engineering college in West Bengal. It offers diverse B.Tech courses including Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, AI ML, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Biotechnology. With a smooth admission process through WBJEE and JEE Main, BIT ensures students enter the world of engineering seamlessly.

Placement: BIT shines in placement records, with approximately 90% placement rate for Computer Science and Engineering students. Top companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Wipro recruit from BIT, offering lucrative packages. The highest package stands at 11.75 LPA, while the average hovers around 4 LPA. I was placed in a managerial position in a reputed company with a salary package of Rs 8.76 LPA.

Infrastructure: BIT infrastructure is good, featuring Wi-Fi connectivity and well-equipped laboratories. The college library was my best pass-time spot filled with a large volume of textbooks. Overall, BIT provides excellent facilities that are a necessity for academic growth of students.

Faculty: The faculty at BIT are not only highly qualified but also exceptionally friendly and approachable. Their dedication to grooming students into industry-ready professionals is where I am now. With supportive teachers, students in BIT find themselves well-prepared for both academia and industry challenges.

Hostel: Unfortunately, BIT lacks hostel facilities, requiring students to seek accommodation nearby. However, PG options and mess facilities are available. I think a hostel within the campus would significantly enhance the overall experience for students.
