Placement: Placement is very good in our university in every branch almost. But top three branch like CSE , ECE and it are phenomenal like avg package is above 20 lakh and others are also good

Infrastructure: Surely the infrastructure is very bad in our university.State government can not do anything about our infrastructure. And central government is also passive about it.

Faculty: Faculty varies from department to department. As of my department out faculty is good . Our faculty is highly qualified and they are very helpful (obviously not all).

Hostel: There are 3 -5 beds in each room of our hostel. Senior junior coordination is good in our university hostel. Good food is provided in our hostel but wifi connection is very slow.

Overall: I am currently studying in Jadavpur University in the department of Electronics and telecommunication engineering. I cleared jee main and wbjee in 2023 . So I choose Jadavpur University over NIT, and believe me I made a good decision in that time . My elder brother pass out in 2022. My elder brother pass out from Jadavpur University in 2022. He was in Instrumentation and electronics department. He just paid 10 thousand rupees only to complete his graduation, and he got job above 12 lakh per annum. So , the baap of return of investment.

Placement: The average package of computer science branch is 20 lakh per annum. From here you can grab domestic and international both packages . Highest domestic package in 2024 is 57 lakh per annum and highest international package is 1.4 cr . It department avg salary is 17 lakh per annum, ECE branch avarage package is 15 lakh per annum ,EE branch avarage package is 12 lakh per annum, Mechanical branch avarage package is 10 to 1w lakh per annum and chemical branch package is 8 lakh per annum. And lower department also get 6 lakh per annum. That's the placement scenario of Jadavpur University. 99% students got placed in 2024

Faculty: When you took a lecture of any faculty, you don't need any other references to cover that . You don't need YouTube to cover that thing basically they teaches as like that . Specially they gives his/her own notes , that's the best things . And you have to go to the lab regularly. They not only teach us they also give you experimental overview.

Hostel: Hostels are very good , for the first and second year student you have to share with your room among 5 more students in main campus after third and fourth year students will got single rooms . Bt in Salt Lake campus you will get single rooms from the first year .

Overall: Jadavpur University is one of the best universities in India in all respects such as study, placements, faculties, infrastructure, etc. In order to take admitted to Jadavpur University in Engineering branches, every student has to give WBJEE entrance exam and they have to score a very good rank to get admission in the top branches there. In order to take admission in the CSE dept. of Jadavpur University one has to score rank under 150 which is very competitive every year. This is one of the best colleges providing very good placements to students every year.

Placement: The placement at Jadavpur University is quite extraordinary in terms of both average packages as well as the return on investment. This is one of the top colleges in India providing an average package of 12 lakhs per annum. In the electrical department of Jadavpur University average package goes up to 15 lacks with the highest package of 50 lacks per annum, In the CSE department, the average package is 22 LPA and the highest foreign package goes up to more than one crore. The whole fee structure of college for four years is approx 10000 rupees. This is one of the best colleges in the world providing a very high return on investments in terms of everything.

Infrastructure: Jadavpur University is one of the best Universities since the British period. The infrastructure of Jadavpur University is quite good. There are separate buildings for each department and also there is the availability of a library on campus. The campus is evergreen and everyone maintains cleanliness there. There is a big playground on the campus where anyone can come and play their desired games like cricket, football, etc. In that playground, every year a sports competition is also held where students from different places of the country come to play the sports. There are also many canteens on the campus that provide very good quality food at very affordable prices. More ever, there is a lake on the campus which increases the business of the campus. Campus remains open for 24 hours, which makes it beneficial for students.

Faculty: Professors of Jadavpur University are quite experienced in their field of domain. Many professors have done their higher studies and Ph.D. from top foreign Universities and from top IITs. In the electrical department of Jadavpur University, there are almost 30-40 professors. Professors teach their subjects to students not only through routine course study but also give industrial training in practical experience in the research domain. They are very friendly with the students and help students with every difficulty in their studies. At Jadavpur University, the faculty-to-student ratio is quite balanced in every department.

Hostel: Hostels at Jadavpur University are quite disciplined and maintained. There are two hostels at Jadavpur University, one for boys and another for girls students. The fee structure of the hostel is near about 1000 rupees per month. The food provided in the hostels is quite decent in terms of both the quality and taste of the food. Strict rules are followed in the hostel of Jadavpur University. Students have to fill out the application form to take admitted to the hostels which open every year near January in the Jadavpur University portal.

Overall: What to worry about overall?after being ranked 83 among universities of Asia?It is a 5 star university and ranked 1 as per NAAC.since from establishment jadavpur university is in his own position.

Overall: Before I came here it was my dream to read in Jadavpur university but I didn't thought that I will be institutionalized with the emotion of this place.

Placement: Why to worry about placements in jadavpur university?Every year more than 80 % students placed from here with a well defined packages.The last year highest package was 2.1 crore per anum

Infrastructure: The university has a nice and big campus,three faculties are there.Engineering,science and arts.laboratories are nice .every instruments are available for experiments.a central library and each and every department has own departmental library .Not to worry about books.

Faculty: The three faculties -engineering,science and arts are in ranking through the India also the world.teachers are very helpful .the most important thing relation between teachers and students is good.

Hostel: The hostel is only for the students whose family can't effort his spendings for study.For this purpose an interview conducted to know whether the students are really in trouble or not.the living charge in hostel is only rs 25 per month and the mess bill for food is about rs 1700 .The food is very good .playgrounds are there in hostel.Each and every room has free access to WiFi .Any one can do online study with the help of this connection.
