Dr Sudhir Chandra Sur Institute Of Technology And Sports Complex was established in 2009 and is a private college in Kolkata, West Bengal. The institute aims to create leaders of tomorrow in the field of innovation and technology. SurTech is affiliated with The Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology MAKAUT, WB (UG & PG), West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development WBSCTVESD (Diploma) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Unfortunately, diploma students from Bihar or any other state with 10th marks are not eligible for WBJEE exam. This is because the minimum WBJEE 2025 eligibility criteria requires that all students (from West Bengal or other states) must have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects to get admission to B.Tech degree.
