BIT Deoghar Reviews & Rating - Student, Faculty, Hostel, Placements, Campus

Overall: Being honest, college is little less than average.. Campus is very small. The faculties are average. Only one academic building is there.. The college is far from the city.. So you'll face difficulties in finding resources nearby. Mess menu is nice.. but better than most of the hostels out there! If you're getting better colleges pls don't prefer BITD

Placement: I'm currently in 1st year so have a little idea about the placements, but in Computer Science branch, placement rate is around 90%.. To be a part of sitting in placements, you need a minimum of 7.5CGPA overall in 8 semesters. For placements , students goto the main campus..

Infrastructure: There is only one academic building, where all sort of labs are present, there is a separate workshop, which has lots of machines, there is a big playground, and one small ground inside girls hostel area!

Faculty: The faculties here are average, most of which are transferred here from BIT Mesra , the main campus, they provide all sort of materials and help needed which are exclusively from Mesra..which helps a lot in exams.. The faculties are always ready to assist you!

Hostel: The hostel rooms are quite nice in size for accommodating 2 to 3 people. You get shelves but nothing to cover, there are open shelves and no wardrobes in here, you get a table, chair and a bed.. You need to bring your quilt , pillow , bucket , mug etc of yours!!

Overall: College is good if you are financially sound as the fee is around 15lakhs INR.In comparision to the fee structure the experience is just like any ordinary college at a cheaper price.Basically you are paying for the degree or brand name "BIT Mesra".

Placement: We had the worst the placements in the history of our college.The TnP group is neither active nor the companies wants to visit our college Around 40% of the total population was placed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very poor.it is a very small campus with just the entrance for college campus and the hostel.There is no arrangement for any other stuff.

Faculty: In EEE we had 7 faculty in the beginning of our course.By the start of 4th year we were left with 3 faculties.Rest 4 were transferred to the main campus And the reason for this they gave was we had a small batch. in eee we were 12 students,still it was a wastage of money.

Hostel: Hostel is fine.Rooms are pretty good.you can even get single room in fourth year.The hostel management,food,washroom facility is fine.Hostel clerks are also attentive.
