Good Score in GPAT 2025
January 17, 2025 4:32 PM

What is a Good Score in GPAT 2025?

A good GPAT score is 300 or higher. Students with these scores have a better chance of getting into their preferred M. Pharm programs. Several factors are important in deciding the GPAT cutoff scores.

First, the number of students taking the GPAT exam in 2025 can greatly affect the cutoffs. Next, the total number of available seats also plays a role; if there are fewer seats, the cutoff might be higher. The difficulty of the exam is another key factor; a harder exam could result in lower overall scores, which would impact the cutoff. Additionally, the category for admission can lead to different cutoff scores, as various groups may have different standards. Finally, looking at last year's cutoff trends and the highest scores achieved can help students understand what to expect in the upcoming exam cycle.

The GPAT exam is used for M. Pharm admissions and is very competitive. It is accepted by all AICTE/PCI-accredited institutions across India, which offer about 24,000 M. Pharm seats through more than 841 pharmacy colleges and universities. The GPAT is a 3-hour long online test. It helps medical graduates gain admission to Master's programs and provides opportunities for GPAT scholarships and financial assistance.

Dear Student,

Although most engineering courses demand a background in science with advanced mathematics, if you have studied commerce with basic mathematics and statistics then you may still be eligible for certain engineering courses, particularly in the field of information technology, computer science engineering, or software engineering. However, in that case, you might need to take enrol for bridge courses or an entrance exam to get complete clarity of the advanced mathematics and core engineering concepts.

Alternatively, if you wish to pursue a related branch, then you can opt for BCA/ MCA as it does not require you to have any specific qualification apart from 50% in your respective qualifying examination.

We hope this answers your query. Good luck!
