Brahmananda Keshab Chandra College Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

The college Library has a collection of about thirty thousand books. The college also subscribes to a number of journals and periodicals which are on display in the library. Borrowing of books and reading facilities are available in the library and also in the departmental seminar libraries. The college is provided with well-equipped laboratories which are designed to meet the need of science students for their practical courses. The Dept. of Botany has been funded by the Dept. of Biotechnology, Govt. of W.B. to set up a Biotechnology Laboratory with all the necessary equipment to run full time Biotechnology classes with the assistance of the program BOOST (Biotechnology Opportunities Offered to Science and Technology). The laboratory is utilized as Central Instrumentation Centre for all the Life Science Departments. The University Grants Commission has sanctioned a grant for constructing Women's Hostel in the college premises.
