The Ministry of Non-Conventional Energy Sources (MNES) commissioned to set up Renewable energy clubs to create awareness about New & Renewable sources of energy (NRSE) in engineering colleges. In support to this and the nation's concern for energy, BMSIT&M formed the Akshay Urja club in 2007 and has continued to spread awareness among the students of the college.
Melange is an organisation which concentrates on various aspects to build and improvise personal and professional goals. It is one of the very few organisations that is completely a youth driven initiative to help everyone to gain knowledge and expertise by doing various technical, non-technical and social projects.
OIKOS, the Eco-Club for BMSIT&M was conceptualized on 05th June 2016, the World Environment Day. The prime objective of this forum is to protect, preserve and balance our natural environment.
Guided by the Institution's Environmental Committee at BSMIT&M; our green forum has advisory members (scientists, naturalists, academicians & environmental activists) representing various NGO's, Industries, Forest Department, Natural Historical Societies, Academia and other stakeholders etc.
OIKOS vision is deeply rooted in "Environmental sustenance by constant dissemination of ecological and environmental knowledge to the society at large". Among several goals, our prime mission is "Imparting of informal and formal environmental awareness programmes by Keystone Students Environmental Education Training".
The ratified Bye-laws and potential list of activities of the eco-club has also been documented. As a part of the initiative, e-365 has been rolled out wherein every day an email is sent to all stakeholders/members that comprises of awareness aspects w.r.t. current affairs on a global scale. Also the documentation for the flora and fauna of BMSIT&M campus has been initiated by Dr Rajesh Gopinath, Associate Professor, Dept. of Civil Engineering.
Quizcraft is the official Quiz Club of BMS Institute of Technology and Management. The club has been in operation since 2014. The Quiz Club takes pride in being one of the most proactive and popular clubs among the student clubs of BMSIT&M. During its brief period of existence, the club has hosted several quizzes including the ones at UTSAHA 2015 and various other branch fests. The club is encompassed of 26 active members who love quizzing. The primary objective of Quizcraft is to establish itself as one of the finest college quizzing clubs in the city and cultivate a great quizzing panorama in the institute. Quizcraft is also active on social media with the page having over 500 followers on Facebook.
The club’s logo is a mariner’s compass – an instrument that signifies mankind’s spirit of exploring the unknown. Members of Quizcraft have actively represented BMSIT&M in various inter-collegiate quizzes winning several accolades. Prof. R.G. Deshpande is the faculty coordinator of Quizcraft and has been a constant beacon of support to the club.

The TEA was inaugurated on 3rd September, 2014 by the Chief Guest Shri Dr. D.M. Ezhil Buddhan, General Manager, Broadband networks circle, BSNL. It is an exclusive platform created by the telecommunication department for the all round development of it's aspiring student members. The association also occasionally organises intercollegiate competitions
Entrepreneurship Development centre of BMSIT&M has taken an initiative to meet the rising need of entrepreneurial career amongst the student though various activities and promote the strong culture of entrepreneurship .
College NCC Unit got sanctioned from 39 Kar bn NCC Unit (Army Wing) on 26/11/2016 Enrolment of Cadets was done by Col. Mr. Benny Sebastian, Commanding Officer and the following activities was held at BMSIT&M.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is really very good very beautiful and peacefull environment we can see because of good infrastructure very attractive buildings are there and they always keep it clean
Hostel: Hostel is a place where we have to stay for not only two or three days we have to live there for some years and I can say that in this hostel I never felt like I'm not in my own house or home my homies are really good supporting and Enviornment is really great and food is so tasty and healthy as well
Infrastructure: The quality of classrooms is pretty decent at B.M.S. Institute of Technology. But labs are well furnished and equipped to meet the needs of each. Wi-Fi is available across the whole campus. The college has a decent Football court that is used a multi-purpose stadium and ground as well. The indoor basketball court and badminton courts are the highlights of the sports facilities. The college gym is a huge disappointment. The canteen is pretty good and is very economical for college students. There are various eateries in and around the campus
Hostel: The hostel mess has decent food. Quality is good but taste varies from person to person. The hostels are pretty good with wifi connectivity. Not huge space in rooms.
Infrastructure: There isn’t much to do around campus, they do provide a cricket ground, basketball court, badminton court but all are not very well maintained. There’s always construction going on, class room cleanliness is also very poor.
Hostel: Boys hostel is close to college, walkable whereas the girls hostel is a little far, bus facility is there for travel. Food and stuff comes from hostel whenever there is any event in college and it is very average.
Infrastructure: State-of-the-art facilities enhance the college experience. From labs to libraries, its the modern for having academic excellence and student comfort.
Hostel: The college hostel is a haven of comfort and camaraderie. The well maintained facilities, spacious rooms, and thoughtful amenities create a cozy atmosphere.
Infrastructure: my college has basically all facilities that are necessary for a engineering student . campus contains two canteens and a library ,washrooms , and 4 blocks(academic, lab, architecture and BSN block),sports room ,valley boll and badminton and basket boll court .
Hostel: boys hostel is in campus and girls hostel is off campus. hostel room are cleaned daily and provide good breakfast , lunch and dinner . hostel has a gym.
Infrastructure: "the infrastructure is quiet well with top notch buliding and few are still on construction over with all these trees the surrounding atmosphere is great full of vibes.
Hostel: "BMS Institute of Technology. Highly recommended!" College in Bangalore which has very well hygienic rooms spacious and matainance also very good offer good food too
