Hostels, a canteen, cooperative shops, a language lab, a centre for scientific computing, service coaching, a college chapel, lecture rooms, and other amenities are available at CMS College campus for the use of its students, instructors, and staff. Brief descriptions of the amenities provided by CMS College are provided below.
The Lea Hostel: The Lea hostel – named after Rev. Philip Lea, the last British Missionary Principal of the CMS college, continues to be a home away from home for the generations of women students who have stayed here through the courses of their study here. A little away from the main campus of the college, the Lea Hostel is a safe and secure refuge where young girls learn not only to secure the degrees that would enable them to earn their livelihood but also the science and art of living in peace and harmony with their fellow human beings, of becoming empowered young women well able to look after themselves and others. Prof Miss M. K. Mary of the Department of Mathematics served as the warden of the hostel throughout her period of active academic service. Even after retiring from the College, she stayed on as the warden of the hostel till 2006. The Lea Hostel continues to follow the traditions set by Miss Mary, under the efficient wardenship of Mrs Elsamma Joseph and the guidance of the committee comprising of women faculty members.
Ella Hostel: The Ella hostel is named after Mrs Elizabeth Ella Bailey, wife of Rev. Benjamin Bailey the first missionary principal of the college. It started functioning in the year 2012. This hostel was built to accommodate post-graduate students. Mrs Susan Thomas serves as the warden under the guidance of a committee comprising women faculty members.
Askwith Hostel: The men’s hostel of the college named after its former Principal Rev. Francis Navel Askwith was established in 1914. The hostel facility is enjoyed by PG students and sports students of the college on a fifty-fifty sharing basis as per an agreement of the College with the Sports Council of Kerala. Dr Jackson V. Paul and Dr Ravikumar C serve as wardens.
Infrastructure: All classrooms are spacious. Each classroom has a projector to educate us in advanced methods by showing slides and videos. college has a huge central library. It provides textual knowledge to students. It has a well-developed indoor sports complex
Hostel: Hostel provide good facilities with lights, fans, windows, balcony etc. good meals with different types of tiffins and curries everyday. They have separate hostel for girls and boys also.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is brilliant. Our college provides us with all facilities. There are big classrooms, neat and clean washrooms, Library, labs for practicel, green environments etc.
Hostel: The University has a hostel facilities for male and female students. Facilities at the hostel include Free Wi-Fi, laundary, hot and cold water supply and separate washroom facilities in each room.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really well built. It has an amphitheatre(centre of attraction) of the entire college. It has foyer area which remains busy during preparation of occasions and events. College has a library which has books arranged department wise even more precisely arranged subject wise in their respective departments. College has a fully ac Auditorium which has a capacity of about 500 students. College has conference room, lecture rooms, well - furnished staff rooms for faculty, experimental laboratory, seminar halls
Hostel: This hostel is absolutely superb, the staff are friendly, helpful, full of local knowledge and go the extra mile. The facilities are cleaned daily, rooms are spacious, air conditioned, large lockers for the bigger backpacks, free wireless internet in the lounge with some computers also connected to the internet, with a large screen TV
Infrastructure: The college campus is surrounded by lush trees and flowering plants. In the evenings students usually hang back and chat underneath the trees. campus is just heavenly during rains.college is like 200 years old and has that rustic ancient vibes which go so well with the trees. There are two grounds, one badminton court, one volleyball court, two canteens and spacious library in the campus.
Hostel: There are two college hostels, one for girls and one for boys. The boys hostel is mostly for student athletes. The girls hostel has a curfew of 6pm and on weekends you are only allowed to go out for 3 years. First priority in college hostel is for students from longer distances ,there are plenty of hostels, pgs and rooms available near the college.
