a) The candidates shall be Indian Nationals. Certificate from a Village Officer or a competent authority to who that candidate is a native of any State of Union Territory of India, should be furnished in the body of the application form itself.
b) (i) Applicants should have passed B.Sc./B.Com./B.Tech. Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the optional subjects; 50% marks in aggregate (including languages) and 60% marks in optional subjects, of study or an examination of any University of Authority accepted by the University of Calicut as equivalent thereto.
(ii) First class is to be interpreted as First Class in Part III of B.Sc./B.Com.
(iii) In B.Tech., since no parts are there, it would First Class overall.
c) Final year B.Sc./B.Com./B.Tech students are also permitted to appear for the Entrance Examination subject to the condition that the entire mark list of qualifying examination shall be produced by the candidate for the allotment.
