Overall: they are giving us full their full efforts to educated us also. They are arranging lots of grooming activities such as debates, quiz, competition, extempo etc.
Overall: One of the good college to pursue engineering. Best faculties, better environment. Overall a good experience. students can undoubtedly choose this college.
Overall: Many journals are published every year from each department; its one of Indias best campuses for R&D. Anyways, we have a great placement cell and great teachers who help with the much-needed placement. The students will be eligible for campus placements in the seventh semester, and many companies will start coming to recruit students with excellent packages. The college alumni are offering a scholarship for the top students in each branch. In my college, many workshops are held every month. Interested students attend the workshops. Here, students from all religions study in unity. The hostels are guarded by security 24/7, and any attempts at ragging are strictly prohibited in the hostels. The college is the best in Kerala. The tutors are the best, the locality is the best, and the students are the best. The college can be improved in certain infrastructural factors.
Placement: If anyone checking for this college ask northies they'll explain you the truth about placement. If you are in top 5 then your placement is confirmed but if you are not then it will be your worst hard time of your life. Faculty will give you back in theory paper even when you have written correct answer and on the other hand faculty will give question paper to mallu so that they can get placement
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is=0 Faculty HOD and principal they all are highly corrupt few years ago government has sent some money for constructing a separate block for all branches but you can search civil faculty Mr Roy N Thomas consumed all money in his private works and a case is been filed up against him by central government but due to communist rule he is sent free . For my department I have my classes in a room which is like kacha house Any primary school like shishumandir is better than this college
Faculty: Faculty here will demotivate you if you are northy and you should not expect any help from them in my department some teachers are there like kartik, venu gopal etc they will really give you back if you are northy and faculty will be very partial they will give question paper to mallu and they will try their max that northy should not be in top 10
Overall: Cochin university of science and technology (CUSAT) offers a wide range of courses in campus, Btechcourse in cusat is tier 1 level and has 7 branches of engineering, mechanical division has a wide range of scope and future ,mechanical engineering in cusat has a qualified and rich faculty with doctorate's from India’s premium institutes like IIT and NIT’s ,mechanical division also have a decent amount of direct campus placement with a pretty good package with an average of 4 lac
Placement: Placements for mechanical division is average as of now ,due to low need of mechanical engineers due to IT revolution, though placements are low mechanical division has 48% of students getting placed with am average of 3-4 lac per annum package
Infrastructure: Cusat mechanical division has its own block called new laboratory block which consist of labs and mechanical workshop and also have outdoor open area for refreshing and break
Faculty: Mechanical division has the most number of permanent faculty compared to other divisions and also faculties have doctorate’s or masters from IIT’s and NIT’s with a good reputation
Hostel: Hostels of cusat is pretty much difficult to be allotted those who communal reservation is the first priority and annual income is the second priority,if we are allotted we have to pay rent of 300 rs per month and a room consist of 2 members

Overall: The college is better when compared to other tier 3 private colleges, as this college provides more or less the same average placements at a lesser fee. If you are a Keralite then fee here will be very less for you. So if you can't afford top private colleges then you can come here. Placements are average and so is infrastructure. Teachers are also of same quality.
Placement: If you are highly talented then only you can get good placements. As this is a normal college so good companies come and hire very less students. Still service based companies come in ample amount so average package is 4-5lpa. If you just want a job then u can do coding and get. Non IT companies rarely visit. If u really have aced coding then even 25lpa on campus placement is possible!
Infrastructure: SOE has 2 buildings. The colleges has labs and a campus of adequate size. Labs look old but they have equipment. All departments have their separate buildings and classes are of average quality.
Faculty: Some Teachers are very knowledgeable and teach awesome whereas others aren't that good. And 75% attendance is compulsory so you have to attend classes nevertheless.
Hostel: Unless you are SC/ST, hostels mayn't be provided. You have to take private PGs or private hostels nearby. Most students stay in private accommodation in first year atleast. After that you may get university hostel.
Infrastructure: Students get to utilize lab and classroom facilities which are pretty decent and separate blocks for department also new blocks are under construction. Canteen is also available but requires improvement
Faculty: This is the pros and cons of the university, not just here but everywhere. You can choose your style no one questions and also if you choose to study then the faculty will support you,do as they say for semester exams you will surely get through
Hostel: Living conditions are not perfect but still maintanence and food are really good than expected. Warden is active and any complaints such as electrical works gets done without much delay. Rooms has good ambience for your daily work and studying
