The campus of the university is spread on huge 313 acres in Udupi district of Karnataka and is completely WI-FI enabled. Over 27000 students globally are taking education here and it is one of the best private Indian universities in regard of research. Total 57 nationalities are enrolled here on MU and university is providing 100% scholarship to EWS students. The campus is completely Eco friendly with lots of green cover. DES is ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004 certified and is equipped with all the modern amenities required to become a global university with state of the art libraries, labs, classrooms, restaurants, hostel rooms. The university also has a convention centre, a innovation centre, a simulation centre and a business Incubation centre to help in holistic growth of its students. DES has been divided into basically 4 departments namely Department of European Studies, Dvaita Philosophy Recourse Centre, Manipal Multidisciplinary Development Research and Centre for European Studies Audio-visual Resources and offers course MA in European Studies that covers three tracks i.e. Business and Economics, International Relation and European Culture and Society.
