Anti Ragging Measures and Policies at Derozio Memorial College - The Anti Ragging Cell at Derozio Memorial College is dedicated to creating a safe and secure environment for all students. The cell has implemented a strict zero tolerance policy towards ragging, which includes comprehensive measures such as awareness programs, confidential reporting mechanisms, and counseling services for affected students. All students are required to sign an undertaking at the beginning of the academic year, committing to adhere to these anti-ragging policies. Serious violations may lead to expulsion or legal action. The cell also conducts orientation programs for new students and regularly monitors campus areas to prevent ragging incidents. For any incidents of ragging, students can approach the committee members or report via email. Formation of Women's Assistance Cell - The Women's Assistance Cell has been established at Derozio Memorial College to promote gender equality and justice for women, as well as to prevent sexual harassment in any form. The cell is composed of various faculty members and is tasked with addressing individual complaints, educating female students and staff about their legal rights, and resolving issues related to sexual harassment. The members include Dr. Saikat Mondal (TIC & Chairperson), Dr. Chaitali Mukherjee (IQAC Coordinator), and others. The cell aims to create a safe and supportive environment for all female students and staff.
