The college has a library and Information Centre which plays a vital role in achieving the cherished objectives of improving the education standard by stimulating academic interest among the students community. The computerized library with a total area of 1000 sqm and has a collection of nearly 21749 books, 6283 titles, 814 CD-ROM’s, 105 National Journals, 81 International Journals, Internet browsing Lending, Reference and Reprographic facilities Study halls with a capacity for 177 Seats (UG Library 132 Seats, PG Library 45 Seats), It has separate reading sections to serve the under graduate and post graduate students.

Hostel is the home away from home for students. Excel Engineering College offers the infrastructure necessary for a balance practical life as well as complete professional training and personal fulfillment. Separate hostels are provided with well furnished, ventilated and necessary amenities for students.

These include indoor games, reading room and audio-video facilities. The hostel mess provides delicious nutritive food both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

Green Club has been functioning in our college and engaged in creating aware
ness on rain water harvesting, tree plantation, energy conservation, etc, among the
students and staff members.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program is organized by Rotary
International to inculcate leadership traits and to impart social service mentality among
the youth. Rotaract Club of Excel Engineering College conducted a mega RYLA event by
joining hands with Rotaract Club of Komarapalayam. Galaxy of District Governors and
trainers participated in the training program and about 1500 students of our College
and nearby schools and colleges were benefitted by the program.

Fine Arts Club comprises of Science club and literary club. Science club conducts
various events like Quiz, Paper Presentation and Project Expo. Literary club conducts
competitions like Poem writing, Essay writing, Elocution and Drawing.
