FDDI Noida Courses with Fees Details 2024

The Footwear Design and Development Institute Noida PG courses include two degrees M.Des and MBA. The former offers two specialisations and the latter offers one. The course duration for both courses is two years, which is divided into four semesters. The courses offered are M.Des in Footwear Design & Production, M.Des in Fashion Design and MBA in Retail & Fashion Merchandise. The Footwear Design and Development Institute Noida fees for the PG courses is Rs 1,29,700 per semester. The course fees is the same for M.Des and MBA.

For male and female students, there are separate residence halls on the FDDI Noida campus. The lodgings are comfortable, safe, and tidy. The rooms are equipped with all the necessary fans and lighting. The FDDI Noida hostel accommodations have amenities like clean water, TV, dining areas, generator and recreation areas. The FDDI Noida hostel fees structure is Rs 30,000 per semester, with a Rs 5,000 one time refundable fee paid during the first semester. The boys hostel has an intake of 350 and the girls hostel has a 200 intake.

The Footwear Design and Development Institute Noida offers a total of seven certificate programmes, spanning a course duration ranging from one to six months. The certificate courses, their duration and fees structure is given below:

• Certificate in Footwear Bottom Component Operator (Insole): Rs 5,000 (1 month).
• Certificate in Footwear Upper Assembly Operator: Rs 18,000 (1 month). 
• Certificate in Footwear Cutting Operator: Rs 18,500 (1 month).
• Certificate in Non-Leather Footwear Manufacturing: Rs 30,000 (3 months).
• Certificate in Footwear Designing: Rs 30,000 (3 months).
• Certificate in Footwear Manufacturing Technology: Rs 60,000 (6 months).

At the FDDI Noida, the admission requirements differ depending on the course, its duration and degree level. Final admission is granted on the basis of both academic merit from the most recent qualifying examination and valid entrance test scores. The exams accepted are AIST, UCEED/ CEED, for FDDI Noida course admissions. One must have completed their 10+2 requirements from a recognised board in order to be admitted to the Certificate programmes. Candidates for B.Des and BBA must have passed 10+2/ earned an Intermediate diploma from a recognised board. The prerequisite for M.Des and MBA is a graduate degree in any field from a recognised university.

The Bachelor of Design (B.Des) is the flagship programme of FDDI Noida. The course duration is four years. It has three specialisations to choose from namely Footwear Design & Production, Leather, Lifestyle & Product Design and Fashion Design. To secure admission in the FDDI Noida BDes courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 or intermediate from a recognised board in any stream. Candidates must take the FDDI AIST or UCEED exam for final admission. The Footwear Design and Development Institute Noida BDes fees structure is Rs 1,04,300 per semester. There are a total of eight semesters.

There are certificate, undergraduate, and postgraduate level studies offered by the FDDI Noida. Seven certificate programmes, four undergraduate programmes, and three postgraduate programmes make up the total. There are numerous design and management specialisations offered by the FDDI Noida courses. The B.Des course has three specialisations namely Footwear Design & Production, Leather, Lifestyle & Product Design and Fashion Design. BBA is offered in Retail & Fashion Merchandise specialisation.
