In this year B.Tech Mechanical Engineering batch got 100% placement. Others departments students also got placed in different sectors. Minimum salary- 2.5 LPA. Average - 3.5 LPA. Highest salary- 5 LPA. Overall, most of the students get placed very well.
Infrastructure: GKCIET has an Administrative block named Chhankya and every administrative work is done here. There are 4 academic blocks such as Block A, Block B, Block C, and Block D that have Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Food Processing Technology department accordingly. Also, there is a Central Library. It contains many types of book of every department and competitive exams. In the 2nd and 3rd floor of Library there is our Computer Science Department and MLSB lab. The building structures are like IITs. Grassy fields are there in front and behind of the blocks. Overall, the campus is very captivating. Really this campus building are so great.

Overall: Ghani Khan Choudhary Institution of Engineering and Technology in Malda is a modest yet promising college. The campus boasts a serene environment conducive to learning. Faculty members are dedicated and approachable, making it easy for students to seek guidance. However, the institution could benefit from more extracurricular activities and modern facilities. Overall, it's a place where students can receive a solid education and build a strong foundation for their future endeavors.
Placement: The college has shown promising placement trends. For diploma students, with an average placement ranging from 4 to 5 lakhs, it indicates decent opportunities for students to kick start their careers. Similarly, the first batch of B.Tech students has achieved an impressive 80% placement rate with an average package of 6 to 7 lakhs, reflecting a positive start for the program. It's essential for the college to maintain these trends and continue to build strong industry connections to provide even better placement prospects for future batches.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is extensive and diverse, comprising a minimum of 20 blocks that cater to various needs. From branch-specific blocks to facilities like a gym, workshop, academic buildings, a central library, and canteen, the infrastructure seems well-equipped to provide a comprehensive learning environment. This wide range of amenities can contribute to a holistic educational experience by supporting academic, extracurricular, and personal needs of the students. The challenge lies in ensuring proper maintenance and utilization of these facilities to offer students the best possible resources throughout their academic journey.
Faculty: The faculty at Ghani Khan Choudhary Institution of Engineering and Technology stands out as they are all graduates of reputable institutions and have notable achievements as Google Scholars. This background suggests a strong academic foundation and a dedication to stay updated with the latest research. Having faculty members with such credentials can greatly enhance the quality of education and provide students with valuable insights from their experiences. It's essential, however, that their expertise translates into effective teaching methods that engage and benefit the students.
Hostel: The college offers two hostels, namely SC Bose and SVM, which are segregated for girls and boys. The arrangement of senior students sharing rooms in pairs (2 students per room) and junior students sharing rooms in triples (3 students per room) seems like a practical approach to accommodate different class levels. This setup can facilitate peer learning and create a sense of camaraderie among the students. However, maintaining a conducive and comfortable living environment for all students, regardless of the room-sharing arrangements, should be a priority to ensure their well-being and focus on studies.
