GECA CutOffs Latest Update

The MHT CET 2025 Counselling (Centralised Admission Process - CAP) is expected to commence in the first or second week of July 2025. The process will involve online registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to allotted institutes. The official schedule will be released soon on the official website: cetcell.mahacet.org.

GECA Cutoff 2025 (Expected)

GECA cutoff for BTech is released by the State CET Cell of Maharashtra during the counselling round. The cutoffs are based on the MHT CET score and the MHT CET counselling 2024 is expected to be held between June and August 2024. GECA cutoff 2024 for CSE is expected to be in the range of 5904-5909 ranks for the GOPENS category for MH quota students. The cutoffs for GECA will change depending on the entrance exam difficulty, number of students who pass the exam, and the number of seats available for admission. Students with Maharashtra domicile need to secure between 28150-28155 ranks (expected) to meet the GECA cut off for the GOPENS category in 2024 for admission to Mechanical Engineering. GECA Cutoff 2025

GECA cutoff for BTech in 2023 has been released. The cutoffs were released during the MHT CET counselling 2023. According to GECA cutoff 2023, the BTech in CSE cutoff was 33859 rank for the GOPENS category students with Maharashtra domicile. Similarly, for Electronics and Telecommunication Engg course the GECA cut-off in 2023 was recorded at 15685 ranks for MH quota seats and the GOPENS category. GECA Cutoff 2022

Based on the results of the MHT CET 2022, the Maharashtra State CET Cell announced the GECA B.E cut-off 2022. Further information about the GECA MHT CET cut off 2022 can be found here. While this score may not be sufficient for admission to top-tier engineering colleges, you should explore your options during the MHT CET 2025 counselling process, which involves preference filling for colleges and courses. 

If you think your score is incorrect, you can file a grievance through the CET Cell portal for rechecking. However, you can reach out to private colleges such as JSPM, DYP, and MIT-WPU for direct admission via management quota. If you're open to options, consider retaking the exam next year or applying for other engineering entrance exams, such as COMEDK, SRMJEEE, VITEEE, or AP EAMCET (if you are eligible).

Some of the engineering colleges in Pune include Jayawantrao Sawant College of Engineering and Zeal College of Engineering, while in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai, consider Viva Institute of Technology and Shivajirao S. Jondhale College. In the Nagpur region, JD College of Engineering & Management and GH Raisoni Institute are options, and for Aurangabad/Jalgaon, you can look at Deogiri Institute of Engineering and Marathwada Institute of Technology.
