At Gudlavalleru Engineering College (GEC)the students are endowed with all convenient amenities that make their life 'go easy' in college hours, alongside make learning more interesting. Some of the facilities include well-ventilated classrooms, recreational areas, hostel facility for boys and girls, indoor and outdoor games, stocked library, seamless internet/wifi connectivity, medical facilities etc. Students should possess at least one text book for each subject of their study. It may be noted that library is not a provider of textbooks to students for their routine studies. Library is a reservoir of various sources of information and knowledge and students should utilize library as a source of additional information. They should cultivate the habit of studying in the library during library hours instead of leaving the college soon after the class work is over. All eligible SC/ST students should make use of the SC/ST book bank for their textbooks.

National Service Scheme (NSS) is an Indian government-sponsored public service program conducted by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India which was begun in 1969. Its primary aim is personality development through social (or community) service. The NSS motto is "Not me, but you".

National Service Scheme(NSS) unit started functioning from 28-10-2002. Its services include organization of Blood donation camps,  adopting local school children, signature campaigns and distribution of preventive medicines.
