Overall: Basically I am a mechanical engineer with 7.9 cgpa for 2024 passing out and I will assure to new student that is fabulous college and one of best facilities working here and the environment is good .
Placement: This college made my life to build me a as 12th pass out student to a mechanical engineer, now I am sitting in over 20 company to take a best job for my future.
Infrastructure: The building is most of the best building and the infrastructure is more beautiful than other colleges and the garden area is more and more beautiful.
Faculty: The professors are the good and they are very supportive and corporative and I am knowing the only mechanical engineering professor but other branches professor also the best teacher.
Overall: This college is completed more than 100 years. Therefore the college connectivity is so wide and strong. All the alumni have their own base . Apart from this , the faculty members and staff are so cooperative. The teaching quality is quite attractive. The level of academic is not that much easy . This makes the students hardworking and passionate. The highest package of this year is around 44.4 lakh per annum. Average package is around 8.8 lakh per annum. The lowest package is around 3.4 lakh per annum. The placement percentage of campus is almost 95 % .which is far better than some NIT's. For increasing the productivity level of students variety of tech and non -tech clubs are run by students itself. Various Events and fests are organised in college under a fixed interval of time. All the seniors, batchmates are so supportive.
Placement: Before COVID this college is more better in placement like in 2019 highest package was 60 lakh per annum. But nowadays conditions are in favour of campus. The placement percentage of last year is 95% , which is far better than some NIT's and IIIT's. Also, the highest package is around 44.5 lakh per annum. Average package is 8.8 which is decent. Apart from this some of the companies also provide bonus like Samsung, Tata motors, MSIL etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is fine.Facilities of Labs , workshop, Wi-Fi-enabled all departments and Air-conditioned classrooms, the incubation room is also there. There are around 6 hostels are for girls and 6 for boys, 2 boys hostels are in East campus and other are in the West campus along with a gym and auditorium. As the college is old therefore the infrastructure is not that much attractive but the facilities of labs and machines are in good stage. Our college has a central air-conditioned library with 21002 books, 70023 volumes, 16 National and 34 International journals along with online access of e-resources, research papers and articles.
Faculty: Faculty are divided on the basis of department like humanity department, physics department, maths department, mechanical department that's make a well organised organisation. All members have high qualification and knowledge .They have been in this teaching career for a real long time. But beware of the harsh truth, i.e. they are rarely supportive to the students. Some qualities are listed below: 1)-Do all possible measures to cover majority of the syllabus despite bunks. 2)- Use simple language that is easy to understand. 3)- Appreciate students for their good performance . 4)- they don't humiliate students.
Hostel: Every hostel have warden and staff for making more organised form. Each student is given a bed, fan, utensils, personal almirah with lock. For any inconvenience they have right to say the warden and staff members. For maintain hygiene issues every single day the washrooms , rooms, lawn are cleaned. Fir physical activities a gym, vollyball court, badminton court, basketball court are provided. There are some rules and regulations for hostel students like before exiting and entering from hostel they have to entry in register . The timing of girls hostel is 5am to 8:30 pm .
