About IEC University
The Indian Education Centre group of institutions campus was established by Vocational Education Foundation Trust in 1999 in Greater Noida. Later, the Indian Education Centre (IEC) University, Solan which is a private university in the state of Himachal Pradesh was established. It was established by 'The IEC University Act' of 2012 by the Himachal Pradesh government. Now, it has been recognised by UGC, Bar Council of India, Pharmacy Council of India, AICTE, AIU and Architecture Council.
IEC University Solan is located in the foothills of the Shivalik mountains. Solan is called the education hub of Himachal Pradesh for professional education. This university is well connected by road and rail. It is 37 km from Chandigarh and 94 km from Shimla which is the state capital.
IEC University Solan has a campus size of 14.5 acres which includes state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities for both students and teachers. The facilities include hostels, residential buildings, ATMs and banks, health centres, sports stadiums, gyms, etc.
IEC University Solan offers various UG, PG and research courses for students. In total, more than 75 courses are available for students to choose from. A student also gets a first-class internship and also a very good placement in a reputed organisation.

The admission process is simple and straightforward. The IEC University admission process 2023 has been started. All information related to the admission process is available on the university website. A candidate must have to go through the following steps to apply to this university.
- First, fill out the IEC University application form (offline or online).
- If online one has to give relevant information such as DOB, 10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheet, and graduation certificate if required.
- After filling up the application form one has to pay up the IEC University Solan application fee.
- The university will then shortlist the deserving candidates and call them for an interview cum counselling session.

- On the home page select Admission portal.
- The site will be redirected to the admission portal of IEC University
- Then it will ask for several pieces of information like name, date of birth, parents' name, guardians' name, mobile number and email address.
- A valid email address and mobile number are necessary.
- It will also ask to upload scanned copies of the 10th, 12th and graduation mark sheets.
- After uploading the documents one has to pay the IEC University application fee.

IEC University Solan Application Fee 2024
The candidates have to pay an application fee while filling up the form. He/She could do it online or offline as suitable. The IEC University application fee will be Rs 600 for all students. The application fee if paid by post is Rs 1000.
