NEET 2025 Ranking System: Know How Marks and Ranks are Calculated

NEET 2025 Ranking System refers to the marks secured by the candidates in the NEET UG exam. NEET is a highly competitive medical entrance exam conducted annually in India. Every year, lakhs of students across the country compete for a limited number of seats in prestigious medical colleges. Therefore, based on the NEET 2025 Ranking System, candidates can calculate their NEET scores and apply to the respective colleges accordingly. With over 20 lakh students fighting for numbered seats this year, admission to the top-ranked NEET Colleges is likely to be tough. EWS Quota in NEET 2025: Full Form, Rules, Eligibility, Reservation, EWS Certificate

EWS Quota in NEET 2025 is a student category under which students belonging to economically weaker sections with a family income of less than 8 LPA annually are counted by NTA. EWS Quota in NEET was established in the academic year of 2021-'22 by the Government of India and the National Testing Agency (NTA), the official NEET conducting body. According to the rules, the EWS Quota in NEET 2025 will be 10% of the AIQ (All India Quota). The idea behind introducing the EWS Quota in NEET 2025 is to offer equal opportunities to aspiring students belonging to all categories to participate in the NEET UG Exam. Therefore, the NEET UG 2025 EWS Quota is followed for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate medical/dental courses (MBBS/MD/MS/Diploma/BDS/MDS). However, for instances when the 10% EWS Quota in the NEET UG Exam is exhausted, students are eligible to opt for appearing in the NEET UG Exam through the general category seats as well.
The EWS Quota in NEET 2025, designed for Economically Weaker Sections, allows students belonging to this category to have a fair chance at the NEET UG entrance exam, without worrying about financial constraints. The NEET UG 2025 Exam is likely to be conducted on May 4, 2025, tentatively. It is important to note that the NEET Cutoff 2025 is an important factor influencing the EWS Quota in NEET 2025. The NEET Cutoff 2025 for EWS Quota in NEET 2025 is determined based on various criteria such as the overall difficulty level of the exam, the total number of students appearing in the entrance exam, etc. While many students may experience confusion regarding the significance of the EWS Quota in NEET 2025, the decision to introduce EWS criteria for NEET has benefitted many students in the recent past. In this article, learn in detail about the EWS Quota in NEET 2025 eligibility criteria, reservation policy, how to apply for an EWS certificate, documents required, and much more.

Dear Student,

It is not possible to get admission to IGMCRI with 307 marks in NEET. As per NEET cutoff 2022, the minimum cutoff rank for Indira Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute was 20097. This means candidates need to obtain minimum marks of 650 - 601 to get that rank. The expected  IGMCRI cut off 2023 will be 20087-20097.  Since you have just 307 marks, you cannot get admission. The NEET cutoff scores vary each year based on factors like the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, and the number of available seats. Admissions to medical colleges are conducted through a centralized counseling process by the NEET counseling authorities.
