Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition, Shimla provides admission in the B.Sc and diploma programs in hotel management. Selection to the B.Sc program at IHM Shimla will be done on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) examination. The selection process will be conducted by the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Pusa every year in the month of December/ January. Admission notification will be released in the leading newspapers. Candidates who have scored a good percentage will then have to appear for the counselling round. Selection for the counselling process will totally depend on the percentages of candidates. After that, the college will assign dates to the candidates for admission. Any candidate who failed to submit the fee by the last date will not be permitted for admission.
