B.Sc

• Candidates who are applying for admission in B.Sc program at Institute of Hotel Management, Shimla must have cleared 12th examination or its equivalent with English as one of the main subject. 
• Candidates who are appearing in the final year of the examination can apply for provisional admission. These candidates should have appeared for the JEE examination.
• The maximum age limit for admission in the B.Sc program at IHM Shimla is 22 years for general candidates while maximum age limit for the candidates belonging from Schedule Tribe or Scheduled Caste is 25 years as on 1st July of the applying year.

• Candidates who are applying for admission in Diploma in Food Production program at Institute of Hotel Management, Shimla must have cleared 12th examination or its equivalent with English as one of the main subject. 
• The maximum age limit for admission in the Diploma in Food Production program at IHM Shimla is 25 years for general candidates while maximum age limit for the candidates belonging from Schedule Tribe or Scheduled Caste is 28 years as on 1st July of the applying year.

• Candidates who are applying for admission in Diploma in food and beverage Service (DFBS) at Institute of Hotel Management, Shimla must have cleared 12th examination or its equivalent with English as one of the main subject. 
• The maximum age limit for admission in the Diploma in food production program at IHM Shimla is 22 years for general candidates while maximum age limit for the candidates belonging from Schedule Tribe or Scheduled Caste is 25 years as on 1st July of the applying year. 

Candidates placed in compartment in the qualifying examination will not be permitted for admission.
