Institute of Integrated Learning in Management (IILM) Undergraduate Business School New Delhi has released its placement report for the management course of Post Graduate Diploma in Management i.e PGDM. From the year 2015, approximately 300+ Companies from various industries have visited the campus for the placement process. The students were placed in sectors such as Real Estate, Consultancy, FMCG, Advertising & Media, IT, Research, Education, Logistics, Retail, Health & Pharma, Banking, Hospitality, Financial Services, and Manufacturing.

Students sitting for the  IILM Undergraduate Business School placement process were almost equally distributed between both genders with 53% of male students and the remaining 47% of female students. The response from companies as well as from students was great and a productive environment was maintained during the placement process. Most of the students that were participating in the placement process were mainly from Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) or B.Com with 43% of students in total which were followed by BBA with 32% of students involved.

Following are the important points related to this tear final placement process:

  • A total of 200+ companies came for the placement process in the institute which is for sure better than the stats of 2019 in which around 180 companies visited the campus for the placement process.
  • The final placement season started in the month of August and lasted till March-end.
  • The average range of salaries that were offered to freshers by the companies was between INR 6 Lakhs per annum to INR 7.5 Lakhs per annum.
  • The top recruiting sector for MBA Graduates was the Consulting and Research sector with 32% of the students opting for the sector as their career.
  • The Consulting And research sector was followed by the Banking and Finance Sector with 26% of the students showing interest in the sector.
  • The major recruiting companies include Amazon, HDFC, Cadbury, Marico, Colgate Palmolive, Protiviti, EY, Deloitte, Coffee Day Beverages, Mazars, Dentsu Aegis, and Berger Paints.

  • The participation of female candidates has been improved in the final placement process with a 5% increase from 42% in 2019 to 47% in 2020.
  • This year also experienced the involvement of candidates with over 3 years of experience in work which was nothing in 2019.
  • Students from B.Com dominated the placement process of 2020 with  43% which was dominated by BBA students in the placement process of 2019 with 38%.
  • An average of INR 6.50 LPA was offered to students from fresher's backgrounds.

  • Gender-wise distribution: 53% of the total students were Male and the remaining 47% were Female Candidates.
  • Work Experience: 47% of the total participants were freshers with 0-1 years of experience, followed by 26% of people with 1-2 Years of experience. Around 21% of the people Were having work experience of 2-3 Years and 6% were having 3-4 years of experience.
  • Area of study: Around 43% of the people were from B.Com (Hons) or B.Com followed by BBA with 32% Followed by B.Tech with 12%. B.A and B.Sc stands at 8% and 5% respectively.
