Dear applicant,

You can get admission to the Indian Institute of Mass Communication after completing class 12 from any recognised board. You can get admission to UG courses like MA in Media Business Studies and MA in Strategic Communication. For admission you need to first appear in the CUET UG exam. The college prepares a merit list based on CUET UG score and class 12 score. The weightage of the CUET UG score is 85%, and the class 12 score is 15% in the merit list. Dear student,

Indian Institute of Mass Communication does not offer any journalism and mass communication courses at the UG level. You can opt for only one course at UG level in two specialisations which are MA in Media Business Studies and MA in Strategic Communication. For both the Indian Institute of Mass Communication UG courses, the intake capacity is 40 students per year. If you are interested in journalism-related courses, then the institute does offer Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism in various languages like Malayalam, Hindi, English, Odia, Urdu, etc. This PG Diploma course is a one-year duration course and is taught in a regular mode of study.
