The admissions at the International Institute of Mass Media begin with the application process of IIMM in the month of March. The eligibility criteria of BJMC at the International Institute of Mass Media states that the student must have completed his/ her education of the Senior Secondary School Certificate (class 12th) or he/ she must have cleared intermediate or its equivalent from a school that comes under a recognised board. To be eligible for the postgraduate course of MJMC at the International Institute of Mass Media, the student must have cleared his/ her class 12th (10 + 2) exams in any discipline. The school from which the student completes his/ her higher secondary education from must come under a recognised board. Apart from that, it is mandatory for the candidate to have completed his/ her graduation in any discipline or stream from a recognised university that is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Candidates who are appearing in their final year examinations are also considered eligible to apply for the course.

I am not quite aware about IIMM whether it is AICTE approved or not. If you are joining a UGC-approved university course, even if it is not approved by AICTE you will not suffer on any of the above accounts. Another point is that universities DO NOT require AICTE approval compulsorily, even if they might apply and take approval to add another feather to their cap. Alongside, UGC accreditation, I must say that the Lovely Professional University has lot of other accreditation in its different programmes offered in the University like: 1.National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE) 2.
