In a truly multicultural city, IIRS Dehradun caters for students from all cultures and backgrounds and has places of worship for every major religion and faith. The IIRS campus has five hostels known as Ganga, Alaknanda, Bhagirathi, Godavari and Cauvery. All these hostels have many modern amenities and cultural integrities that make one feel like being at home. These hostels are situated within its green campus which is adjacent to the main academic building.

Laboratories 

The laboratories at IIRS Dehradun comprise a huge part of the student's development. Since most of the education here is practical-based the labs here play an important role. The IIRS labs are well equipped with modern technology and new improved instruments that are beneficial for research and studies.

Library

The library of the IIRS campus has a huge collection of books, magazines, journals and e-books. With a total of 15335 books, 275 reference books, 340 conferences and 1450 technical reports, it diligently caters to all the academic requirements of the researchers, scientists and students. 

Wi-Fi

The whole IIRS Dehradun campus is wi-fi enabled.  It can be accessed on the campus, hostels, seminar halls, library, auditorium, etc. It provides connectivity of 100 Mbps and has a 10G campus network. 

Hostel

The campus has separate hostel facilities for male and female students. The rooms are well-furnished with all the necessary amenities like bed, table, chair, cupboard, etc. The hostel buildings also have recreational facilities like indoor sports, gymnasium, common room and halls. 

Other Facilities

The other various IIRS Dehradun facilities include sports grounds for cricket, football, etc, a gym, hospital and medical centre, cafeteria, workshops, etc.

The Institute Hostels boast of providing culture and facilities that make one feel like being at home. The lodging and boarding facilities are provided to all the students/trainees of IIRS in its five hostels - Ganga, Alaknanda, Bhagirathi, Godavari, and Cauvery. These hostels are located within its green campus adjacent to the main academic block. 

All hostel rooms are well furnished and are allotted on single/double occupancy basis. Indian cuisine is served in a common mess, which is primarily run by the hostel inmates with all infrastructural support provided by the Institute. The rooms for foreign students/ trainees are provided with kitchenette facility for their own preferences. Altogether, about 200 students/ trainees can be accommodated in IIRS hostels at a given time. 

The hostels and the campus are housed with lots of facilities for recreation, such as billiards, basket ball, table tennis, lawn tennis, badminton, volley ball, party-hall, ultra-modern Gymnasium, etc. In all, the international culture, homely atmosphere and ambience, and world-class facilities make living in the campus an unforgettable experience.
